Suppose a third person is at smome distance and seen the blodd of any acident and surrers then she will get the compensation or not??

nicely and neatly explained .Query 1 if news of death of children staying abroad, getting on phone also come under nervous shock or not ? even though the proximity to the incident is not close , but still considering relatinon it should come under ambit of nervous shock and claiment should get compensation. kindly clarify

my question is - a daughter has suffered rape and hearing her news of being raped her parents go under nervous shock. will there be any compensation?

Dear Srishti, Tort law deals with civil wrongs for which the law provides compensation. The cause of nervous shock itself is not enough to make it an actionable tort, some injury or illness must take place as a result of emotional disturbance, fear, or sorrow.
