She was on top of her game & stopped releasing music,, this man was a monster to her left her broke & physically beat her for years had she continued releasing music & touring she’d of been successful as I remember it 2 albums with The Fugees who toured The Score I was lucky to witness them & they were 🌍wide successful then Lauryn brought out her album which was #1 🌍wide but no tour or work behind it I don’t think she has it like she did not by a long shot

That is why I STRONGLY disagree with Robert Glasper’s misogynistic and rude comments on Lauryn Hill for producing only one album and for demanding to be called “Ms Hill”. It is because at a young age back then she knew that being respected as a woman mc and singer you needed to set boundaries even though we found out later that she had an affair with her ex-group member Wyclef Jean of the Refugees. Then she chose to step away from the music industry over motherhood (6 kids!). We should mark our respect to Ms Hill as last time I checked she is the ONLY female rapper with more Grammies. And finally Robert Glasper with his 11 albums has 5 Grammies vs Lauryn Hill with only ONE album she has 5 Grammies. It is called a STRIKE!

She’s been through a whole lot but I’m so glad she’s back and doing her thing. I get that sometimes artists can get hoarse from too much of a strain of their vocals, but she needs to protect her voice a bit more. As a paying fan of this concert, I would’ve been a tadbit disappointed to not hear her voice in its purest state. Ms. Lauryn will forever be one of the GOATS but she has to take into consideration that people came to HEAR HER as well as see her. She’s Amazing though. Always has been always will be.❤️
