Maybe they did kiss irl- men kissing each other wasn't exactly labelled as non-platonic until the 19th century. So they could have kissed but told everyone "this is platonic- we're totally not secretly dating or anything no homo bro!"

You should have just know because of the lams warning

if you put on captions, in the beginning, it says "I may not live to see Yahoo Alexander" on most animatics, for example, Galactibun's, the captions say "I may not live to see Alexander" There's some crying fuel for all you shippers. (I am one of them, don't worry)

A chill ran through Alexander's body. He looked around confused, for he was just laying on the ground, dying, for all he knew. He didn't see much, something blurring his vision. He looked down at his body. A red liquid poured out upon his chest and onto his clothes. A tiny feeling of fear shot through him. Then, he felt himself gain more strength and control of his body. He didn't understand what was going on, but he didn't ask himself or anyone. There wasn't anyone to ask anyway. He stood up slowly, shaking. He glanced around at his surroundings. He was in a white void-like room. He couldn't see anyone, but then, an echo sounded and bounced off non-existing walls. "Raise a glass to the four of us.." The echo said. Alexander somehow knew that voice, but he couldn't remember it entirely. Then, he turned his gaze to behind him. So many emotions burst within him as he saw the person standing behind him. The person had his back facing Hamilton, not noticing him at all. "Tomorrow there will be more of us!.." Alexander took a step toward the person singing. "Laurens?..." Laurens quickly turned his gaze toward Alexander. Hamilton could see Lauren's wound from when he died. Laurens smiled as tears formed in the sides of his eyes. "Alex? Is that you?" "Yes.. yes it is..." Two tears ran down Laurens's freckled cheeks as he walked to Alexander. He pulled him into a hug. Warmth spread within Hamilton's body as Laurens hugged him. It's been so long since Hamilton has felt safety or peace or freedom from anything. He smiled and hugged Laurens in return. "I missed you.." "I missed you too, Alex..." . . . "Singing the story of tonight!" Hamilton continued what Laurens had been singing. " *Let's have another round tonight* " They sang together.
