hell yes! Coherence was great!!! (so was the song obviously, that's why I'm here) anyway at first it made me think of that Twilight Zone episode "The Monsters are due on Maple Street" (which is one of my favorite classic episodes) but than it reminded me more of the underground low budget indie film "Primer". and of course I have to mention the fucking cartoon show ever: Rick & Morty!!! because it also reminded me of that a lot, specifically the episode "Love Potion #9" where they destroy their original version of earth n go to another alternate dimension n replace the alt versions of themselves after they die in an accident n have to go bury their own bodies in the back yard! goddamn I love that show! lol n this really was a interesting cool different kind of movie, i really enjoyed it.

The song gave a great feeling to the end of the movie.

This song will always have that Coherence vibe...

Yup. Same here. Coherence brought me here! What a great movie! I really enjoyed it a lot and give the writers and directors much credit cuz they did an amazing job! The actors were so good too!

When I remember listening to this on an indi song compilation set, and yet I can't find it because there's so MANY other 'galaxy' songs out there, I have to comb through each one to find this one buried under the heap... But I'm glad I took the time to do so.

Worst line in the movie. The entire premise of the film is based around the very opposite: not all Mikes sleep with all Hugh's wives. I mean... Mike was just being a dick, probably, but it's delivered as if the filmmakers don't understand their own premise. Good movie otherwise, though.

I feel like I've heard this song before, but I never watched the movie Coherence -- where did you first come across it? This is really bugging me that I can't remember how/why I originally heard this song! No idea when either, but I'm pretty sure it was long before the movie made it so well-known. I graduated high school in '07 and my mind seems to pin it somewhere around that timeframe.... Any hints would be greatly appreciated! Was it maybe the theme song at the beginning/end of a tv show?

I found the song Galaxies back in 2006 due to a google homepage widget for a SXSW playlist. God bless who ever created it. I'm still loving her music a decade and a half later. Her music has aided in helping me cope with and grapple with many of my bipolar episodes over the years. If I could ever meet her I would give her the biggest hug I could manage (assuming she would consent to it.)

This is a gr8 tune & a new to me favorite; OMG, thank you!!! This tune is fantastic, this is what I hope for when I open my senses to "new to me indulgences!!!" The movie that moves imagination to my mind, brings a "Coherence" to revelation. Bridges burned where I come from is true, world wide. Who wants to open galaxies to possibilities of sickness? You would have to be utterly insane to break hearts, yet, unless I'm wrong, this is done by more than just one. I bet I'm not the only one; I'm praying I am. Could it be from multiple reasons, stemming from childhood to emotions inflected by life's travesties? So many have lived & died trying to make this world better for their kids so that they don't make the same mistakes or live the life of their parents as they take in hand, alternative child-rearing. Maybe self-destroying prophecies or being so impressionable creates a "children of the damned" existence. Brutality & exclusion re-enforcing a child's behavior. Could this question be considered finger-pointing as way of explanation or a logical path to reasons in question. Maybe it's a reality that sorry can never make any difference; but the truth is, music, actions, knowledge, contributions & perseverance in quest can be actions of proof in turning a word into a real, heartfelt statement. I share galaxies with heart & soul more than I care to say, yet, this song is bridging proof that can be played to quantum dynamics in existence. Your beautiful view resides inside the picture frame; scenes that equate sounds that care, your eyes & features portray feelings shared. In love with a world so exquisite, how can anyone want to leave when those who burn us so bad are also the saving grace to reasons we stay. Your heart's to small to love the world, yet, when you understand that kids to adults act & take actions, it's not always to their choosing, as forces beyond their control force their hand. Sometimes it is their choice; either way, galaxies shed the divisions, universes collide & real love is torn as everyone loses. In freedom, a heart turns cold, emotions stomped & numb resides triumph; a path I never want to live or choose as being human means to live & grow, to accept & find a way to a better life. To reathe in reality & exhale serenity as an Enterprise explores with tunes ever so beautiful, created by those who can make a difference, created by the imagination of those who care enough to become the difference as art, trade, skill & will prove actions that can.
