Launching the Honwave T38 at Hamble Le Rice and a Trip up the River Hamble

Ойындар

Once again we had a lovely little trip up the River Hamble in the Honwave T38 ie 2. Had a little outboard trouble which I think was just a blocked low running jet.

Never been on the Hamble before but it looks lovely and serene. I’m tempted to head there this coming weekend..

Yes it is a lovely river and Hamble le rice is a lovely place to launch from. On a high tide that generally holds for 2 hours you can get a lot further up than in that video

Sounds good. I’m a new boater, hence quite inexperienced so you videos, and others are most helpful so thanks again 🙂

The "bar" boat is a floating takeaway cafe, bacon rolls, ice creams, that sort of thing. Also if you go further up the river and take the right hand fork, you can go up to the pub at curdbridge and tie up in their pontoon but it only has water for about 3 or 4 hours then it dries out

Nice video. It looks like you are getting a lot more of the water now the kiddies have gone back and the temperature has dropped.

Great video again - must get out over there as it looks like a great spot. Your Itiwit pumps - are they the ‘0-15PSI 12V/15A ELECTRIC PUMP FOR INFLATABLE STAND-UP-PADDLE BOARDS AND KAYAKS’ at £55? If so, did you mod it to have alligator clips for your battery?

Yes those are the pumps and yes I modded it with the clips. Ebay has them cheaper www.ebay.co.uk/itm/204473879495?chn=ps&_trkparms=ispr%3D1&amdata=enc%3A1e2GEn6QnQEWC3Cw_-5HbOg47&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=710-134428-41853-0&mkcid=2&mkscid=101&itemid=204473879495&targetid=602114963966&device=c&mktype=pla&googleloc=9045072&poi=&campaignid=10219897599&mkgroupid=103415893193&rlsatarget=pla-602114963966&abcId=1063846&merchantid=6995734&gclid=CjwKCAjw38SoBhB6EiwA8EQVLkBQZZHmvP4qiYHzHqOa2OIXWcxn5Eq1y8Zp0RzIP3GJ4rrVDlUZZxoCB8MQAvD_BwE

I have a Bravo and I hate it. I think these are far better and the Connector fits unlike a Bravo

Interesting! I only need to top up my little Rib on the trailer so might go for one at £44. Might get something a bit more powerful when I get my SIB. Am looking at this Boatworld Cruiser 380 Cat hmm…. !
