"Battle of the Bands" is often a thing in High School and Colleges/Universities celebrations.

Bands here in the Philippines are kinda underrated. They don't get famous like let's say One direction. They don't get to be on Television. They may be like guestings but here in the Philippines they mostly focus on solo singers.

I know. In america, i dont see that many filipino singers as well. If they do have, some hides their race or their company make it exempted in their career. But it's really sad because filipino bands/singers/vocalists/musicians are so talented but only stayed popular locally.

we Filipinos loves singing and we easily fell in love not just with the performer but to the lhyrics itself...regardless if it's ballad, rnb, rap or rock..as long as we can relate to the song..that's it! "pinagtagpo ngunit hindi tinadhana" is one hell of a phrase that shot right through our hearts.... heartbreaks sinks in...

Bands are big in the Philippines specially during the 90s. In every highschool classroom there would always be someone who plays the guitar. Company parties are never compete without a famous band in the roster of performers.

@@kurukongho2847 but Magnus is not an English word..it is a Latin word, but not pronounce as what Efra had pronounced it..it is pronounced as "Manio" in Latin pronunciation, which means "Great" in English term..but Efra just pronounced it as how we Filipinos pronounce it.

I heard this song couple of times mostly when we go to supermarkets. The last time awhile ago 😂

Morrisette's "Akin Ka nalang" seems like upload straight but other performances has got some editing happens. Or at least took them a few takes and put together. Like "Rainbow" cover by Khel. It's not a one take records. I saw someone uploaded a phone video and it's different from the wish upload video.
