That chorus is sort of a cry asking "Didnt you tell me you're not going to leave me? That you'll never let me be alone. Didnt you tell me we're gonna grow old together? Why are you suddenly there in the afterlife?" Its so emotional and heartbreaking.

That gospel-like opening was brilliant. Death has a way of making people religious.

It's the lyrics of the song that makes this song stand out the most. How i wish you knew how beautiful the lyrics is.
