In the latest Pixel Feature Drop, Google has finally confirmed that they are bringing the ability to edit text messages sent through the Google Messages application. As long as you have RCS enabled within the app, you'll get this feature rolled out that will allow you to edit already sent messages for up to 15 minutes after they have been received by the other person.
Another new feature being added is the ability to share hotspots and also switching between devices for video calls. This instant hotspot feature will enable you to connect your Android tablet or Chromebook to your main phone's hotspot with a single tap. They're also adding in a way for you to cast your Google Meet video call to another device to seamlessly switching on the go.
Emoji Kitchen is receiving a new update with a bunch of new sticker combinations. Check out the new update to Gboard to find these newest additions.
Google Home is finally getting a widget that will allow you to control your devices directly from the home screen. Google says you can use it to check the temperature of a room, turn your lights on or off, and more without needing to open the Google Home application.
Wear OS users will now have the ability to manage your favorite Google Home smart devices with the new wear OS tile and complication. Use it to quickly view your smart home devices while also gaining the option to control them from your smartwatch as well.
Continuing with the Wear OS updates, smartwatch owners in the US and Germany can now use their wearable to make secure payments with PayPal thanks to the latest update for Google Wallet.
And lastly, Android's Digital Car Key feature is coming to more vehicles in the coming months. Soon, this feature will be expanded to select Mercedes-Bens and Polestar automobiles so you can unlock and start your car using just your smartphone.
