Have you looked into hyperthermia treatment? i've been in contact with a former patient of a clinic in germany called "st. georg klinic". She is lyme bacteria free now. it is very expensive. but it is the only thing so far..that is known to completely kill the bacteria. i am working on going there. hope you get healed..take care

    Hi there,
Hugo would have replied to every single one of the comments if he could, but unfortunately his health does not allow that. :( This is a reply sent to everyone on KZread who has been asking about Hugo, showing your support or anything like that. I have lyme disease as well. I was treated with the Cowden protocol and beat it once. I had my strength back and everything. I was doing yardwork at my dad and mom's house. The next morning I woke to see a tick on my shoulder. So I am on this journey again. If I can beat it the first time with God's help I hope to do it again.

At least you were finally diagnosed dude. In Australia our government refuses to acknowledge it's existence here. Yet i was bitten by a large tick aged 3. Then growing up going to school i had major sensitivity to light (had to wear dark glasses to get to school) Headaches/migraines, chronic fatigue, then about aged 6 i was temporarily paralyzed the hospital tested for meningitis and all sorts of things and a week later i could walk again and was sent home with no diagnosis. Through my teenage years i still suffered fatigue, headaches/migraines (so bad i nearly had to go to hospital) and sleeping for 12-15 hrs still feeling fatigued. Then once into 20's the body aches and pains started. They say ''Fibromyalgia'' ''Depression'' ''Arthritis'' etc etc. You can't get tested for it here it's crazy! All the best anyway. Just thought i'd share what it's like having all the symptoms and living in Australia. People have sent their blood to the U.S and came back pos+ for Lymes so go figure.

I'm in my 6th month of antibiotics. I'm getting better slowly. Stay positive, and know our bodies are amazing and can heal if we give it what it needs. My doctor is perscribing many herbs as well. My grown son is getting those treatments, plus, blood cleaning, electric impulse therapy, herbal drops, binders, antihistamines because when h had covid a year ago, the body pain, excruciating headaches, mast cell activation, and insidious other symptoms, including neurological and psychological issues started. It’s been over a year of this, which began with mold toxicity, and it’s been over 2 years since he’s has to come and live with me. He has Lyme rage, is negative and complaining constantly, and in terrible pain. I knew nothing about Lyme coinfectiins, until I volunteered at a community garden after I moved from my dream condo that had mold, and I became sicker and sicker. My dog died from mold, and I recently tested positive for live Babesia Mycroti and other tick-borne infections. I’ve been sick for almost 20 year’s beginning with breast implants, mold , autoimmune diseases, weird infections, lost my teaching career from cognitive decline, pain, my condo, family members and relationships. It’s a sad state of our broken medical system that won’t recognize this illness, and it costs tons if money to get tested and treated! I have had Lyme since 2008. Please don't be embarrassed, but I am so happy to see someone else has those same speech issues that I have because of Lyme! It's not just me. I call it a stutter, but it's not really a stutter, something just doesn't connect when I try to talk sometimes. I've always been shy, and it makes that much more difficult. I am so relieved to see someone else have this symptom too. It got worse when I was on doxycycline. Building up the immune system for us is very important. I have a pre-blood cancer condition which those of us with Lyme also need to watch for because our immune systems are so exhausted. My hematologist-oncologist is the only doctor who takes my diagnosis seriously, but he can't treat me. Thank you, take care.

Wow I'm so sorry to hear this. Lyme can be a debilitating. Praying your treatments are going well. I'm not sure if it would help you but on my Lyme and coinfection treatment and recovery I've found that Pure leaf, organic Stevia extract in alcohol, cats claw, teasle root, coconut, Olive oil (or Olive leaf extract), a good high quality probiotic and magnesium to be super helpful. Pure organic Stevia leaf extract in alcohol has been scientificly proven to kill all forms of Lyme and dig them out of their biofilm in labs conditions. Teasle root is what deer eat and deer, even when bitten, do not develop Lyme. Probiotics, Cats claw, Olive oil, and Coconut all kill muiliptle type of yeast, bacteria, parasites and candida. (coinfections) And since Lyme needs magnesium to complete its life cycle it will use up all of the hosts. Humans need magnesium for over 300 functions in the body. So most Lyme patients should supplement with good quality magnesium. And of course lots of high quality Vit D and C. And bone broth can be very helpful as well. Lyme is one of the worst pestilence right now that is under reported. Well over 300,000 people will be diagnosed in the US this year alone. That doesn't include all those who are looking for a diagnosis, or are misdiagnosed with MS, ALS, chronic fatigue, Lupus, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, Parkinson's, ect. It is called the great immigrator for a reason.

I was wondering all these months why you guys stopped vlogging. To watch this video brought me to tears. I am so hopeful for the journey you are going to be taking alone. You are strong, and I know it. As someone who loves traveling, I believe that anyone who loves the most satisfying things in life deserves to live them, which is why I have hope for your recovery. And I know that your parents would be proud knowing what you've already done in your life. Hope you get well soon :) :)

Am being tested right now for LD and also have CFS, Leaky Gutt and Fibromyalgia to name a few. 2 of my 5 sons have something very similar. Thanks for sharing that a parent / mother can pass it on at birth. I will talk to my dr about that. I had no idea I had these diseases or the beginnings of them back before they were born, but now that makes a whole lot of sense. Now I really feel like a heel! I appreciate it tho and God bless you with a FULL recovery!!

    Hi there,
Hugo would have replied to every single one of the comments if he could, but unfortunately his health does not allow that. :( This is a reply sent to everyone on KZread who has been asking about Hugo, showing your support or anything like that. For that reason this reply isn’t personal, as much as I would like, there no time, due to all the caregiving. However, as Hugo’s caregiver, I have just written two extensive posts (out of a series of three - next week is post 3/3 on the entire care situation) on the 10 WINS we gained, and on how Hugo’s health situation is at this moment. Below you can find the two recent updates: 2 YEARS POST CROWDFUNDING - PART 1 of 3 WHAT HAS CHANGED? facebook.com/hugo.alexander.page/videos/854949998537329/ 2 YEARS POST CROWDFUNDING - part 2 of 3 HOW IS HUGO’S HEALTH? facebook.com/hugo.alexander.page/posts/1835575429969803

Hi Hugo, My partner and I, coincidentally, were always a couple months behind you on our own journey throughout SE Asia, watching your vlogs along the way to get travel tips and also to have a bit of a laugh when you two experienced similar circumstances as us. I'm so sorry to hear that you are battling this illness, but your bravery and hopefulness seem to be your some of your best weapons. Our trip also came to a screeching halt after my partner needed hospitalization (from Gili to Lombok, finally made it to Singapore!) and it really puts life into perspective. The world is beautiful because of its gorgeous oceanside and historical buildings, but sometimes the beauty in our own daily struggles- the love you find for yourself and others in it- surpasses it all. We look forward to getting a glimpse into your experience in the vlogs you share with us along the way. I'm wishing you the best of luck and giving you thanks for continued inspiration

inspirational words ... such a touching story of life told from your personal very difficult POV beautifully. I'm going to test for lyme myself as it was a test I neglected to follow up on years ago when I got that 'ring' rash around a tick bite which was negative at that time. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia years ago but some of the symptoms seem more akin to late lyme. Your words are inspiring and shows true courage to the deeper core of what connects us all spiritually and that is very uplifting to hear. Thank you once again for sharing this wonderful video.

Wow. Your eventual diagnosis was exactly like mine. For me it took over year to get diagnosed and when I eventually found out, we went out for a slap-up meal to celebrate no longer being in the dark. Nearly four years, life is much better but also very different and I ended up medically retired at 53. I do bits of manual part time work now but resulting brain damage prevents me from doing any work requiring cognition.

For future updates of his journey, or if you want to send some love and support, you are so welcome to follow Hugo through: facebook.com/hugo.alexander.page instagram.com/hugo.alexander.page Thank you! 🙏🏻

It's been a year in April I've been fighting Lyme. Diet is a big thing. And Monnolaurin will dissolve the bio film that these critters live and hide in. Thanks for your courage.

Hang in there Hugo. I too remember being told 10/2/2015 that I too have Lyme after suffering with horrible migraines, crippling fatigue, heart arrhythmias, osteoarthritis in my knees hips shortness of breath a spot on my brain and many other symptoms. My diagnosis wasn’t positive until by random chance when I too began to not be able to speak full sentences and had problems waking it happened be at the same time of testing the bacteria came out to reproduce long enough to be discovered. It took years to be semi Normal. I thought I was doing pretty good until about eight months ago when I’ve been under tremendous stress I have noticed here lately I’m back to swelling again with chronic Adema again heart palpitations shortness of breath brain fog and joint pain and of course excessive weight gain that nothing cost to go away no matter how hard I try so I guess that means it goes into remission and I’m just trying to do each day one day at a time
