 Hugo would have replied to every single one of the comments if he could, but unfortunately his health does not allow that. :( This is a reply sent to everyone on KZread who has been asking about Hugo, showing your support or anything like that. For that reason this reply isn’t personal, as much as I would like, there no time, due to all the caregiving. Dankjewel voor je steun! Wij zijn ook ontzet :(

Als ik alles lees, dan is er steeds een ander verhaal. Je staat er niet alleen voor, want er zijn minstens 12 mensen die genoemd worden als "zijn team". Bovendien zeggen ze nu dat hij geen ME heeft, maar Lyme. En als ik ergens anders lees, dan heeft hij ineens 11 diagnoses. Ik heb ook ernstige ME en ik moet het ook zien te redden zonder constante zorg. Ik heb geen berg vrienden die me helpen en die heeft hij wel. En daarom ook deze grote campagne. Ik heb letterlijk niemand die dit voor mij zou kunnen doen. Ik sta er écht alleen voor.

Op de website zie het volgende staan: De verstoring van het autonome zenuwstelsel heeft Hugo zijn immuunsysteem over de jaren heen enorm verzwakt. Waar Hugo eind 2017 alle antwoorden dacht gevonden te hebben in de diagnose laat stadium chronische lyme, en met behulp van een crowdfunding actie voor een beenmergtransplantatie naar Duitsland is afgereisd, blijkt dat nu ‘slechts’ een gevolg van een vele male groter onderliggend problematiek te zijn. De beenmergtransplantatie heeft nooit plaatsgevonden en is vroegtijdig noodgedwongen onderbroken. Wegens Hugo zijn toen al te slechte en fragiele staat van zijn kon hij de behandeling niet ondergaan.

Wel erg jammer. Zo een mooie actie doneren om Hugo te helpen. Maar nu hoor je niets meer over Hugo? Erg jammer. Ik hoop dat het goed gaat met Hugo.
