Absolutely. These so-called lively moments are apparently rare. I remember when Letterman was # 1 ' Before Morrow AND ALL THOSE GIANT dickheads took over the show.

It's so terrific to see monologues from this era. Dave on top of his game, and a perfect time capsule too, which adds another interesting dimension. It's great to see Dave so 'on' and focused...loved the classic Letterman ''....that's comedy''. ´"Family reunion" classic as well. Fantastic upload and great quality.

Interesting seeing this where Dave is somewhat praising Rudy Giuliani as the new mayor of NYC and now 28 years later Rudy Giuliani is the butt of talk show jokes.
