@@judeu people used to try all kinds of drug combinations in 70s and 80s, those who were couldn't afford much, so they even tried cheap gasoline.

@@vishalthefirst4140 I think the reference was to people siphoning gas with a tube to steal it from other cars. People often started the suction with their mouths so they might ingest some. I don't think it was a drug reference, but you do you.

@@judeu In 1973 there was a major oil shortage caused by OPEC embargos in protest of the US's policy towards Israel. The price went up by 1.5x and even when the shortages were over never really went down. Then near the end of the 70s the effects of the Iran Revolution and the Iran-Iraq war caused prices to double again. Gas can be stolen by siphoning it by mouth using a tube.
