Some years ago I was watching the AM news and the newscasters casually announced the next piece as a mishap. They showed footage of a guy on a motorcycle successfully jump over a highway overpass but completely miss the landing ramp and died instantly. I did a spittake with my morning coffee. This video is a bit of an overcorrection.

As soon as the PIT cop performs the maneuver, the other cops dash in to pin the guy (if there's anything left to pin). Way to go, cops--even though a half-dozen ($300,000 worth) of cop cars might get wasted in the process. (Note to bad guys: though you may have only shop-lifted a $30 shirt, if you run, the cops WILL send EVERY car on the police force to capture you. You're NOT gonna win and VERY LIKELY will die. (Good riddance.) DON'T RUN!

This wasnt the end of a high speed chase, they basically snuck up on em and immediately execute them and its baffling to me that every one in this thread seems to think this is some how good. not to mention I didnt see a single cop "pursuing" him for most of the video. you see a couple parked on the side of the road in the opposite direction, but it really doesn't seem like an intense chase by any means lol. He was able to reverse up and down an alley way for like 2 minutes without being boxed in. what a joke

Where were the unmarked cars in that alley way when he dicked around back and forth lol... But thank you for telling me those 4 trucks that pit maneauvered him, boxed him in and shot him to death were in fact unmarked police cars and not some random vigilante death squad. Seriously. IF the media were to air more of these clips (raw footage), people will be more reluctant to commit crimes. Cleaned or edited footage dumbs down the issues/crimes that was committed and in a strange way, glorifies it. Even raw footage from cop cams would help people see what law enforcement have to go through each day. However, people see what they want to see regardless of truth they may not like or the media does this for the ratings
