you'd think that CBS Boston also noticed that @0:39 the presenter misreads out the sentence 'I only know THAT John is the one to help today' he missed out THAT. Trivial.. but ironic given the context of laboring the point that it is incredibly easy tasking. Stay mindful guys, we all want the best for everyone. Mental Health. Dr Bandy Lee for President.

30 out of 30? Who took the test for him?

So, he had one in 2018 and one in 2020. Apparently, he keeps asking for these tests. I guess he knows something we do. Now it's 2024, makes sense.

....this test is to confirm a Alzheimer's diagnosis, not to test for cognitive function alone. Congrat's Mr. "President" you're "smart"

The news story didn't include the fact that in scoring the test, the President was eligible to achieve a maximum of 29 out of 30. (A single point is awarded if the test taker does not have 12 years of formal education) Since we know it was impossible for the president to earn a 'perfect' score on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment, we must now question how many other results of the president's health test were reported without being properly examined by the White House doctor.

Here is the scoring from Wikipedia. If you know how to add, you will come up with 30. Where in the world did you come up with your 29 + 1 for lack of a high school education? Evidently you failed basic math as follows: "The MoCA assesses several cognitive domains: The short-term memory recall task (5 points) involves two learning trials of five nouns and delayed recall after approximately five minutes. Visuospatial abilities are assessed using a clock-drawing task (3 points) and a three-dimensional cube copy (1 point). Multiple aspects of executive functions are assessed using an alternation task adapted from the trail-making B task (1 point), a phonemic fluency task (1 point), and a two-item verbal abstraction task (2 points). Attention, concentration, and working memory are evaluated using a sustained attention task (target detection using tapping; 1 point), a serial subtraction task (3 points), and digits forward and backward (1 point each). Language is assessed using a three-item confrontation naming task with low-familiarity animals (lion, camel, rhinoceros; 3 points), repetition of two syntactically complex sentences (2 points), and the aforementioned fluency task. Finally, orientation to time and place is evaluated by asking the subject for the date and the city in which the test is occurring (6 points)." 5+3+1+1+1+2+1+3+1+1+3+2+6=30

Jim Adams did you transcribe your equation correctly? It looks like an extra "+1" was added between the two 3 point sections at the end of the test. (5+3+1+1+1+2+1+3+1+3+2+6=29)

Jim Adams if you are not interested in the link I provided you can also pause the video at 1:01 to read the text (Add 1 point if >12 yr edu) at the bottom of the zoom in of the scoring page.

dan deresh I administer this screening all the time as a speech pathologist. The score is still out of 30, you just get a bonus point if you have equal to or less than a high school diploma. It does not affect the overall total score. The added point accounts for the lower norm scores for groups of testers with a high school education or less to keep it equivalent to those with college education. I also want to note since I do these screenings (and that is really all it is, it is not a full assessment of cognition...it just tells us if further in-depth evaluation is necessary), but they are fairly sensitive in my experience to identifying risk or presence of dementia or other cognitive impairments. I have compared it to other cognitive screenings and found them to all correlate fairly well across the board and match the decline in cognitive behaviors that caregivers and family report. They provide a lot of info to evaluators as to a patient’s cognitive abilities and how their brain is functioning for those various tasks.

Because MOSCOW AGENT GRIFTING AMERICA ORANGE CLOWN would then be BITCHING/ MOANING / WHINING BARKING that PRESIDENT Biden had a cheat sheet. He usually accuses others of doing things that he HIMSELF (ORANGE WANNABE DICK-- TATOR CLOWN) does. And most importantly PRESIDENT Biden has IMPORTANT issues to try to deal with than to listen to the orange drama QUEEN lunaTICK and go through with a test that they give to kindergarteners for fun! And he definitely won't think that it's a test that Harvard students take!
