Drive through penalty is the only fair option. That will stop Russell who is the king of taking 5 second penalties instead of giving back a place as a race strategy.

Make it a team penalty, have both of the team's cars serve a drive-through penalty. That will make it disadvantageous to use such a tactic.

Yes agree if a driver is driving in a way to benefit his teammate both should suffer a OnTrack penalty (drive through) and such as this case Magnussen would still lose license points.

The additional penalty (a drive through) seems an appropriate adjustment. Having said that, I don't feel what Kevin did was anything but team play and a well calculated 'Kevin penalty vs Team $ benefit' play on Kevin and/or the team''s part.

Team orders are team orders,, it's not the first time team orders have significantly impacted rivals who remembers Singapore 2008 I know that's on the extreme end of team orders, butt it just shows teams will do anything to can an advantage
