As a newbie I highly appreciated the video. Just started the game 5 days ago and I'm new to arpg as well. You were spot on with slowing it down where it was needed.

Great beginner video! Pro tip: Rune of removal all non-experimental affixes off of experimental items then shatter the experimental item. Seems to be the only way to get experimental affixes consistently. (I mainly do this for the damage over time reduction affix for high corruption) :) Edit: Rune of removal can't remove experimental affixes as of 0.92 for some reason so you have to shatter at the end.

Straightforward for a newbie. Thanks for the info

Bonus tip. Although a bit of time spent, Rune of Discovery can also be used to roll for those rarer affixes. If you get an item with no prefixes (cause generally rare prefixes are better than suffixes, since they have skills, unique effects, etc), you can slap a rune of discovery on it, then rune of removal or shatter the rare effect after. Just another way to look for those affixes that can only be found on specific pieces of gear (like +skill on relics).

This is an incredible video and the best tutorial for explaining the LE crafting. Really is appreciated and have subscribed too! Thanks again. 🎉

This was perfect. I'd gotten my head around most of it, but the tips around efficient use of shatter/removal was very helpful, time to smash through some storage space i need freed up.

Just wanted to comment on the Experimental boots, for Minion builds you can go the "X% Increased Minion Damage + X Minions Teleported after using Traversal Skill" affix. It gives more damage than the fundamental stats and it's a good option if you dont need the HP

Oh dude legendary potential is wild in this game lol, to put it simply you can fuse an item onto that unique adding the stats to it and making it legendary, if you check out my Starter Guide there is a section where I cover how that works in more detail! Was putting together my own guide (I often do for myself in games) and wanted to understand the best place to see "best affixes for specific item slots" like hybrid health or cleanse ailments on belts, movement speed on boots, attack speed on gloves, etc...

Your pretty spot on there, rings are a good spot for resistances or endurance you are missing too

rune of discovery has a higher chance of rolling rare affixes, which means you can and should get items with 4 empty slots of the type that can have the rare shards you need, then you discover them and shred the items into shards. this makes the rune quite useful for late game purposes

I'm a gambler and sometimes I'll get an exalted with a good tier 6/7 prefix and I'll rune of Removal for the chance of being able to pick exactly which one I want by removing the other affix, sometimes it pays off!

To be honest craft whenever possible or when you feel you need more damage or survivability, its more about getting the materials. Past lvl 10 crafting is your best friend!

They are consumed every time you craft, even if it doesn't give you the 25% for no forge potential

Seals an affix to the item freeing up a slot for you to add another affix. You can use it to seal a specific stat so you can add another of the same kind or too seal a stat you don't want and free up the affix slot so you can add one you do. Say you a lightning build but one of your affix slots is filled with a low tier cold damage shard. You can seal it to the item, freeing up that slot to add a lightning shard.

Wow, so much RnG. I kinda like the gamble, but will know i will forever horde gluphs, not wanting to use them. Sounds complex, but from just one meh, item, your luck can be in and you can randomly generate a monster!

Is this game worth grabbing? Last similar game I played was Diablo 3 years ago.. but as I prefer using steam due to the steam deck ease.. and I refuse to buy Diablo 4 😅

It is way more fun than Diablo 4 IMO, at more than half the price, so yeah id say worth

Crafting still makes no sense to me. I have collected HUNDREDS of crafting components (shards glyphs and runes) but EVERYTIME i press F to forge ANY item it says "You have no shards that match your current search and filter criteria." Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? I have tried dozens of different gear but it just keeps saying the same thing everytime its so frustrating. :(

I heard you can craft a set? But I haven't figured out how. I have over 200 hours, and I haven't found a full set. Just a bunch partial sets.

Technically yeah, using the rune of ascendance on the specific piece of gear you need for the set, like a set helmet, just gotta get lucky when crafting it

Your gonna have to target farm the items your trying to get. It can be tedious. Took me about 12 hours to get the last bears furry set.

at 7:13 you are showing how lucky you are to get to T5, but on the item stats did not change! only forging potential was wasted, go check!

this transfer crafting materials button is the most annoying shit ever existed. just put them directly in there instead of filling up my inventory first for no reason at all

felt the same, i dont know why they didnt make it so it goes to the mats inventory automatically, it seemed the most obvoius thing to do.

I think their crafting system is cool but boy is this confusing without a guide.

To be honest the Crafting system in LE is purely garbage. Forging potential on an item is very stupid idea. If you ever find the perfect affixes on an item after spending 100+ hours, the game will fck you up with stupid forging potential mechanic unless your glyph of hope saves you from quitting the game.
