High corruption is EXTREMELY imporant for farming rare boss drops. The most important thing by far. The rarity makes them drop pretty much every time at a certain point

@@ZedEhSeeKay thats gonna heavily differ depending on who you ask but as you go higher they really started to drop noticably more ofte. Around 500 or so they seemed to be very high droprate

Been trying to get immolators belt but no luck at all, made my own ignite bleed damned stacking warlock in scf and kinda regret having no sharing of stash tabs between characters. Got my first 3lp item which was cool and now farming barbrute unique to put lp mods overall im having fun but my next char is probably not scf :D

My farming has been horrid. It's difficult to good drops for the class you are actually playing. I have a tab full of Unique bows but can't get enough Talons of Valor.

does anybody know if you kill the boss and see that you didn’t get specific drop and create portal back to town it allows you to take on the boss again. So my question is does this lower his specific loot drop rate ? Or is it the same drop rate? Also is this a glitch that allows you to portal back to town and reattempt at killing boss

You can do that in campaign, but not in monolith, where you can only tp out once.

Still very early in my attempts at target farming (haven't unlocked empowered mode yet). Took me seven attempts to get Woven Flesh armor to drop from the Abomination, despite the supposed 50/50 odds of it dropping vs the Ribbons of Blood ring (got 6 of those, including one with 1 LP). Even got a Flayer's Pride shield before getting Woven Flesh.

@@jeffe2267 Isn't the Woven Flesh armor supposed to be an early item acquisition BEFORE you even get to empowered monoliths? I though the Abomination was guaranteed to drop a unique item, empowered or not.

So it’s still not clear to me about target farming and I’ve watched both videos. Let’s say you’re farming a belt in Fall of the Empire. Is it coming from the boss or is it just more likely to have echoes that drop belts?

The latter. Fall of the Empire is the only monolith that specifically has unique/set belt echoes. The higher your corruption, the more likely it is that you'll see exalted or unique nodes.

Depends on the belt you are after. You are either after a specific item that can only dropp from a specific boss in a certain timeline or dungeon, then you farm that boss as fast as possible (what this video is about). Or you are after a unique/set from the common loot pool that can dropp anywhere. In that case you are farming the timeline with the apropriate special nodes that garant a unique/ set for the slot you are after. Or, if you are COF, you do whatever you have to in order to trigger the prophecies for that item.

So if I teleport out and restart boss fight it doesn't take any stability but the drop rate for uniques seems to be crap, can anyone confirm if you can actually boss farm drops by using teleport instead of talking the npc or does it not work?

I been trying to just get certain exalted things and aint had no luck. I got alright gear so far, just nothing i wanted to slam into my LP items

So I have been trying to get a twisted heart for awhile now. I've killed the boss around 10 times now at 160 cr with no drops at all. I was reading the loot tables and saw that it is competing with the shield in empowered monos but it is the only "rare" drop in regulars, so I wondered if it might be better if i just wanted a heart in general to do non-empowered but now your video is making me wonder if I've just been unlucky.

I think we're just unlucky unfortunately. I have killed the dragon about 30 times. With a roughly even distribution in kills between the empowered and non-empowered version of the boss and no heart. Doing normal monos might still be better to farm the heart just because you can get to the boss faster. We might just be really unlucky, but it doesn't seem like empowered has increased the drop chance.

​@@crunkbub My first Twisted Heart in the game came after 29 kills and Corruption of 250...they say the drop rate is 20%...my experience doesn't match...there are cases where the Heart drops first so it becomes a case of which side of the teeter-totter your sitting on. 😊

You want to do empowered monos with the highes corruption possible, because it increases the chance for higher LP

Hey! Not tenkiei but i do, idk why. I think it is when you stack a lot of Echoes in various timelines, i think there's something about their backend that it stays loaded or something and it takes more power on the game.

You farm the stability in the divine echo then run the boss on the normal echo am I right?

im pretty sure you have less chances for lp uniques that way, acording to lastepochtools bc it shows the chances for lvl 100 area i belive

In my case its shit. I need only orobys and monolith boss. So i rush until i see orobys kill him, then challenge boss rinse and repeat

I am committing the sin of asking a question before the end of the video, so I will edit if my question gets answered, but started playing only a few days before launch and was wondering what exactly Stability does? (Edit: So more Stability, gain Corruption faster?)

No. Sometimes u find nodes where u fight a boss and u in turn raise the corruption, meaning u add more difficulty bit better loot. Stability opens up the quests on the left of your screen which allows you complete that echo, get your blessing and move on to another echo.

Stability is there to fill up the bar so that you can do the boss. To fight the boss you need a certain amount of stability, and you get stability by doing echos. Then you kill the boss, and loose some stability. If you see the start of the video he has 923 stability in the top bar and that will let him fight the boss of that timeline by clicking the question mark next to "The Caldera of souls" in the Quest Echoes menu on the left side of the screen

you are explaining quite a lot using words i don't understand. So while this might be a good guide in general maybe you should write a little text if you use Last Epoch specific words like "2 LP", "4 LP" or something like that. Thanks for the video!

Am i blind how to do we tell if its a arena echo?

Read the tittle of the echo if it says arena then it is that

I’ve only gotten 2 4lp drops in 1500 hours. And they both were terrible common uniques

You definitely lose stability if you die to a boss. I've noticed losing 50 stability every time I died to the dragon boss in Reign of dragons.

Step 1 play Offline...otherwise you can't rush anything

I haven't had any server issues since the first few days, although NA has had it much better than EU with servers, im sure itll all be smooth for everyone soon

@@dill6078lucky you, or really unlucky me then I guess. The start was catastrophic on my end, could not play before last Sunday. Then it worked kinda well untill Friday, since then echoes are forbidden...cannot succeed loading 1...

There were some problems with online play for a few days after the launch but it's very stable now. My only problem are the random fps drops that I constantly get while playing online.
