I love to analyze games almost as much as I play them so expect a lot of analytical content, guides, and gameplay help.
If I had to pick a main game it would be Path of Exile but I have also played several other games at a high level including being an officer in a top 30 US guild in World of Warcraft.

for int based builds, Wing of Astel is an OP curved sword that can stagger Mohg with only 2 weapon arts. it uses somber stones so it's easy to upgrade. i use that with a staff in my second hand to cast glintstones from further away.
I'm a player who only buys season passes. This game gets cooler and more fun as the season goes on. Boys wondering whether to play it or not, don't get too scared by p2w and try it. There's nothing wrong with enjoying endgame content even if you don't have a Pact spirit. LE is such a boring game for me. I only play POE and TLi mainly. The huge changes in the upcoming new season are getting me excited. TLi developers are definitely listening to player's feedback.

I don't have a problem with the Diablo 4 developers creating a bug because they failed to consider how four complex things interacted in a very unexpected way that would have been very difficult to predict. What I have a problem with, when it comes to bugs, is that features don't even perform to spec within the limited context of what the feature was trying to accomplish in isolation. That's when the bugs piss me off the most because a developer was assigned a story to do "X" and literally did not complete it, yet it got shipped into the final product anyway. The former scenario requires robust Quality Assurance to catch, while the latter is just being lazy and not caring.

If you mean Charge Calling - Moto, that's a paid hero trait if you don't own the battlepass. But he can also be earned via Hero Emblems for completing the battlepass & events throughout the season.

People in discord are claiming that attack speed scaling for moto2 wont matter because of the internal self destruct cooldown. Can you confirm that this not the case?

@@Internetworrier no but honestly, even if attack speed does nothing the numbers are still so good that charge calling should feel as strong or even stronger than last patch. It will be fine to start on regardless, but would be nice to know if it is actually broken

I have to play mobile half the time (due to being employed) so youga 2 mind control seems the best for full map clear and mostly automated. Probably try the new Carino as my 2nd.
I am thinking about league starting with Rosa ground shaker and then re-rolling into snicker something something.
I enjoyed Rosa Ground Shaker a couple seasons ago. Nice solid starter with good defenses.

I have 700 hours in Elden ring and I just found out today how trash I really am I just beat the DLC at 70 hours and decided to make a fresh Brand New character and all I did with this character is Bodrick and formed to become level 100 with a six moon Vale and I can barely get this guy to half health no summons
Elden Ring does do that. I was feeling pretty confidant after completing a good chunk of the base game and downing several DLC bosses, then I walked into Maliketh's arena...it was rather humbling.

I just started playing this game in 2024 and it's got a lot going for it. This game would be a perfect candidate for a remake similar to diablo 2 resurrected. The biggest thing holding it back for me in 2024 is the graphics looking 10+ years old.

For once human the pay to win so far doesn’t exist even if we can buy the currency to gamba blueprints I don’t think it would make a difference since if I roll a legendary weapon blueprint I have to have the level and the mats for it which are locked behind the story and certain areas in the game
Which is definitely good, and I hope it stays that way. But I'm thinking more like 2-3 years down the line, once the initial hype dies down, will we see the usual "convenience" items added?
@@Tenkiei i hope they do skins there are some that we can get from event currency in game and other stuff but it looks like a lot of it is going to be skins from how the game plays as of now. and i wouldnt consider this an MMO like you called it. i know it is but it def feels like an open world survival game. its very solo viable until you get to the bosses. which you can solo the bosses eventually you dont need a group but its still very time consuming but imo very worth it to somebody unlike yourself who doesnt have to make content on 10 different games a week/month lol
That's fair though I'd imagine time consuming also means good content, lots of guides. But these days I definitely find myself moving away from the grindier games.
@@Tenkiei yeah I mean it’s probably harder for you to make content if you have to grind now idk what you like on your personal time or do you just record no matter what you play??
It really all depends on the game. For example Path of Exile is also quite grindy but there's a lot of content to make because people want to be sure they're using their time efficiently. So I can talk about how to craft a certain item or synergies which make an OP build work. But there are definitely games where grinding can make it harder to make content especially when there's hard gating mechanics. IE: "you must do a daily quest for a month to access this". So in that case I look for things I can share along the way such as efficient ways to grind.

Yeah when I was doing a little research I saw a lot of "this is meh" and a lot of "this is amazing I'm super hype" so it very much seems like a wait and see or play with a friend who is excited type of game.
honestly, FF14 is a game one should play because you want to play a FF game that pays a lot of homages to the other games and maybe gives you a nostalgia kick, or want a really, really long RPG story to sink your teeth into. rushing to the endgame isn't worth it, seriously. not because the endgame is bad, but because you will feel very, very lost. as such, now is as good of a time as any to jump in, as yes, you will be spending ~300h going through the story. there is a very expansive free trial that covers the base game (ARR), Heavensward and Stormblood. as with any MMO, the game starts off slow, which is an obvious downside, but when the story gets you, it gets you hard.

As someone who works 50+ hours a week, I feel I can't really keep up in this game with the flames. I want to enjoy the game but felt way too far behind way too quickly against those that have no job. 😒 Other than that, I really enjoyed the core gameplay.
I hate that i used my hefty pots and now the armoured ones are just unkillable unless i respec, just makes the game difficult for the sake of difficult, why tf cant i just purchase a hefty pot lmao why fromsoft why
Hefty pots are reusable. Just throw the pots you've made and you get back your hefty pots!

Grats! I have not fought her yet because I want to complete the DLC but I'm a bit stuck on the last boss. There's so many bright particle effects that it's hard for me to track the attacks. But I'm sure I'll be fine after I farm up some more Scadutree fragments and max my blessing.

Okay man someone explain how you draw a second backhand blade without having to collect a second one in a new game play through. I mean the sword type, not the circles.
Y+R1, or if you're using kb/m whatever keybind you usually use to two-hand a weapon.

This game really deserves to be right behind the PoE on all arpg tier lists - it's absolutely incredible, which success was diminished of stupid rumours of it being p2w mobile garbage. I really hope that you, ds_lily and some other content creators will continue to cover it and that it will one day hit the mainstream it deserves. Thanks Tenkiei once again for covering it!

i love the game but unfortunately the free classes keep loosing power , as a free to play player i hate this
you can get classes for free. Just not the newest ones. Hero Emblems are easy obtainable
Compasses can’t be baught at the trade anymore they said. You can recycle lower ones for memory cards to gamble for new ones.
Ah my bad I must have misheard, I thought that was only the better compasses. It's a bit unfortunate if even the basic compasses can't be purchased as having that baseline was very good for the game. Thank you for letting me know.

Good luck, T7 should be faster than before but I'm not sure about the T7-2 to T8 scaling and how hard that'll be before compasses.

Yeah that's totally fair. I would love for them to fix this and have a separate western version with its own monetization. Personally, I'm able to enjoy the game despite the p2w but it's definitely sad to see how powerful the newer pets are.

I love the art style but the micro transactions are a huge turn off even if the game is 79c rn. i never played it before so i don't have the sting those who have had it for years feel but after watching fortnite pretty much become a new game(i purchased a tower defense horde shooter it became a free battle royal) I get why they would be upset
