What can be said about Last Date? It's quite possibly the greatest instrumental pop song of all time.
Originally written/recorded by Floyd Cramer, it features his famous "slip note" style of piano playing.
My arrangement is based on the heartachingly beautiful version that Conway Twitty recorded. If you've never heard it, it's worth checking out especially because of 1) the great pedal steel work and 2) the lyrics that Conway wrote/sang.
