Did you do a test of how much lines you may place on 1mm, or how thin is the thinnest achievable line (on metal)

Hi, no I haven't heard anything from HyperLaser, I had high hope for that product (before the Laserpecker 2 release), they seem to have some issues with their product developing, I just feel so sad about that :((( Great to hear you made your choice on the Laserpecker 2, you won't regret it!

Laserpecker company should make a chart. With all the correct measurements so people don't have to go though trial and era. To figure out which I'd best for each materials. Especially the ones who looking to make a business out of this little pecker. So customers items won't have to go though trial and era especially if they bring a material. That u haven't tested on before.

Can u tell me if this can engrave aluminum keychain and aluminum bottle ?

Hi Sami! Thanks for the thorough reviews! I'm considering purchasing it, but I would like to know if there's a life span noted, as there is one for the previous Laser Pecker - 10.000 hours. For this one they said somewhere that it's 200+ minutes, but I'm guessing that's probably how long it can work for between charges. What I would like to know is if there's an approximate number of hours/years as there is one for previous versions. Thank you in advance. All the best!

Can you compare it the hyper laser?

My LP2, electric roller mode, cylinder mode, focuses on the rear roller not on the centerline between the rollers. Suggestions?

If you have their ear, ask them to place an alignment grid on the base. Or can I etch one on there myself? Also, they should add a feature that allows the walker to follow a straight edge, as the video demonstrates it tends to wander. I have heard it will NOT engrave stainless steel at all. Is this accurate?

Hi Dave, most of the time it wont wander or you can just simply put something on the base just in case :DDD For stainless steel if it has paint on it then it can engrave perfectly, if it's bare steel then you have to paint black, it wont have depth though...

Hello, Can the machine be used for a long time continuously? For example, engraving on 100 pieces of wood or metal with continuous doubt, without stopping?

I am trying to engrave some information such as name, phone numbers, registrations or perhaps QR code on dog collar and tag so my dog can have her special goods. will the engraved QR code of size 20mmX20mm would be readable on metal, aluminum dog tags? how small would it be able to engrave?

I see alot of people are getting burnt on the hyperlaser Kickstarter that you reviewed last year and some people are saying they never received they received the original laserpecker..... do you know if this a safe and reliable project to back?

Hi, as Hyperlaser is a new brand and I've tried their prototype and seems fine at that time, if users got hurt out of no reason then they should try to deal with the manufacturer like try to take legal action etc. For Laserpecker, they have a really successful previous crowdfunding campaign and I have good reason to believe that they can do a good job for their 2nd generation :D

That would be no problem at all (if your zinc alloy's color is shallow, you can paint it black), as you can see I showed other dog collar in the video and has really good results.

Hey Sami, very nice video, I like the way you present. But - you are only using the pictures and videos from the original commercial of the LaserPecker. It would be more convincing if you used some videos that you made yourself, so that we can see, if the result is as the commercial shows it. To be honest... it looks more to me as if they took material from your presentation for the commercial. Why is that or did I get something wrong? However: If the tool works as it is presented and if the quality is as shown in the videos, then this is a high quality product, which is worth the money for sure. Looks very thought-through. Thumbs up.

@@SamiLuo You say yes, i've got one and it does absolutely nothing to aluminium, even if i make the surface non reflective or go over it with black permanent marker first. Also, your video has a short clip of it engraving the back of an iphone, i tried it on an old iphone and it didn't touch the glass, just burnt the white off behind the glass.
