Laser Engraving for Beginners: How to Engrave a Bamboo Cutting Board
I think I am falling in love with the WeCreat Laser Engraver and Cutting Machine! I am going to demonstrate how I added this Bamboo Cutting Board to the WeCreat software in order to engrave this super cute cutting board. When I found this design on the Creative Fabrica Website, I knew it was just perfect for me. Cooking is definitely not my ministry and since I have had this cutting board for over 2 years, it was time for me to put it to good use!

I love it! I actually cut mine with power tools and use a wood burner. I have tons of lumber to cut, shape and burn that I didn’t get done for gifts last Christmas season because I broke my arms. I might be considering this machine because it will help me take some of the labor off of my body. Thanks for the video.

I mostly do bigger projects with hand held power tools but Im thinking about getting some CNC or laser stuff to engrave stuff and my signature on my creations.

I have been using Lysol wipes to clean the black resin off the edges of the lettering.

If you weld or combine the design, it would also help decrease your burn time, the laser head would not have to jump around. i find i get better results and faster times when i combine or weld the image together, unless im doing and engrave and outline.

I was so Jealous when I saw you got to work with the WE Create machine! I have an X Tool D-1 20W, I really like it but I would love to have the camera and enclosure options. They have truly made it easy to get into laser crafts. Don't forget the Acrylics you can do with it.

Thanks! I haven't tried it on metal since I recalibrate it, but I am going to try it soon. I did not realize it would be this easy.
Have you tried cutting out wodden earring shapes and engraving very intricate designs on them? I'm wondering how intricate this laser can cut.

It is so much easier than I thought. I haven't been using it because I needed to calibrate it and I was afraid.
after you finished the board did you sand it alittle to get the blood off?
