Thanks so much for the love!
You do a great job inspiring the thought process. These aren’t my thing, but if I end up doing shows this year I will need some low cost items to pull folks/kids in. I look forward to seeing how your test shop goes. I was watching a leather worker build a journal cover today. Foreign, so no narration, but wow! I am in awe of what you started out doing!

Yeah I immediately thought of shows even though this is an Etsy focus video. Quick and easy things a customer can pick up and not think of the price too much.
I'm surprised at how simple some of the products are and how well they sell. Thanks for making this video, Justin. Looking forward to your series. 👍

Yeah its wild. As soon as I start making something too complicated I have to remind myself... simple sells!

@@justinlaser that's a good reminder. I should make a sign for myself to hang above my computer stating that 😂
Looking forward to watching this journey...

Good luck with your venture!
Excellent invaluable info, many thanks Justin
Interesting video great insight into what can be achieved making basic products which obviously sell 👍
Great video. I'm on the verge of buying the Xtool S1 40w (deluxe kit) with the 2w IR module. i think its the right machine for me, but i am unsure. I plan on selling hot sauce / sauces and would like to laser etch the logo / label onto the glass bottles, I am making several board games, and plan on using it (s1) for creating card holders, game piece bases, dice roll catcher, and etching aluminum game cards. Do you think this machine is best suited for the task, or should i consider looking into the various CO2 lasers?
C'mon you are revealing my secret source of ideas 😂 For me etsy is a great source as my "future" customer base is in Hungary, as i recreate and translate english text i should be far from touching copyright issues. Of course logo's and similars are still a nono.

Sounds like a great idea to me!
Great video Justin! For the coinhole game, you mentioned blank coins, what do you think of wooden coins? you are already cutting out of the 3mm ply, go ahead and cut some coins and engrave them.

Thanks! I did try that and it would probably work. They are a little light so I would probably make the board and hole larger since its tougher to toss it without flying off course a little bit. Metal coins and bean bags have that nice weight to them.

@@justinlaser good point... hadn't thought about the weight differences
Hello great video Sir, I like that little cornhole project. I noticed the difference in the creative space easy set panel. Is there an updated version or is that because I use my tested setting. Thanks

Hi there! The cornhole file is from my shop, it should work just as he showed it :)

@@GKDesignHaus Cool Thanks
I think the cats are actually three thin figures glued together. Hence the clean cut.
It isn't ply wood. Plywood does not have growth rings, which you can see along the edges.

Do you mean the original peoduct on the store isnt ply? 100% guarantee its ply. No way is a shop using 3 MM full wood sheets to make these. I dont even know where you can get this full sheets that arent ply but the cost and extra time to cut alone would make it not worthwhile.

Are what look like growth rings possibly just the different plywood layers?

@@joshcookifythe seller uses alder project sheets from either woodcraft or Rockler. I see them in my local store for a few dollars for a 24x12” sheet, 3mm thick. Warps like crazy, which is evident in the pic on the ad. You can also get 3mm balsa sheets from the same stores, for a little less. Michael’s even has balsa craft board.
