Love this legendary man. He gave us so much laughs through Seinfeld and Curb.
Watching this interview is just an additional episode.
This is by far THE most candid and off character i've ever seen Larry David be in any interview. He never shows emotion. Almost never speaks highly of others on camera. But he did all those things in this interview.
At 76, Richard Lewis was the same age as Larry but looked like he was in his 90's, because his health had deteriorated so bad. RIP Richard. 🙏

Can you imagine being Larry David’s friend. Just hanging out with him for 30 40 50 minutes? It’s nothing but nonstop laughter. I’ve just watched 45 minutes of Larry David on KZread… My gosh I’ve almost forgotten about my anxiety and depression and my f’n right hip that’s very painful at the moment. Thank you Larry David
There is this scene in an episode of the actual season, Larry again arguing over something with Richard and eventually saying to him: 'Can't you just die already?' which made both break character and chuckle. Bittersweet funny in hindsight. Anyway, I love this show. Thank you Larry!
One of the greatest shows of all time. Will miss it.

Favorite episode is still 'The Doll' S2.E7. Just the way Susie talks to Larry and knows he took the doll's head and how hilarious that moment is in the bathroom at the end. One of the episodes I never forget.
Loved the episode when Richard says no lunch as Larry doesn't show up then he agrees, then David doesn't show up...the look on Richard was priceless
Larry and company, you made us laugh for years. 2 Bosses out there.. you and Bruce..
I know you don’t want to hear this Larry, but we love ya for all the funny Curb/Seinfeld episodes. I owe you big time.
I've loved Curb for years, and love Willie Geist, and it was so fun to see Willie on the show this season! He gave Larry the stink eye like a pro lol.
Thanks Larry.. i still rewatch all the seasons every month
An end of an era… Almost a quarter century of this man being the most outrageously honest individual in television history. I’m really going to miss the comedy this show brought into the world. Thanks for the good times, LD.

Nice interview, Larry is such a great person and writer. And I was a real fan of Richard Lewis back in the day and happy they collaborated.
I’m going to miss this show so much… Once, mid-week during a morning at a place in Hermosa Beach, Larry David sat next to me at the next table. There were maybe two other people in the restaurant. He was alone, just enjoying his coffee. I really wanted to tell him I’m a huge fan and so on, but I was too starstruck. Before I could gather the courage to approach him, he had already finished his coffee and left. I like to think we shared a nice, quiet coffee together. I think it’s better this way; he might have been annoyed if I had approached him. RIP Richard Lewis
