I recently started watching “Curb”, having never seen it before. It’s pretty, pretty, pretty good.

Started binging it a month ago... I'm up to season nine. I'll say this - Seinfeld USED to be my sitcom of all time but Curb has definitely overtaken it. Palestinian Chicken is the funniest half hour of TV I have ever watched.

@@dimitreze - not to argue, but rehearsed means Larry knew the questions in advance and they had gone over the expected answers. Letterman having notes doesn't mean the interview had been rehearsed. But I get your point - usually the host and the guest map out the interview so it "flows" more easily. On many occasions it is clear that the questions are predetermined to elicit a specific answer (such as to set up a story that's expected to be entertaining).

Dave did an amazing job of Beck stopping Larry‘s bits. He knew when guys would come on who could play first chair. And he would happily and deftly play the straight man for them.

That's my best one so far.
Wonder what they cut out at 5:33. You can hear the audience go silent suddenly after clapping and laughing.

I've never seen Bernie Sanders be so comical.

LARRY& DAVE MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE MEN FUNNY GUYS BOTH I FIND VERY ATTRACTIVE, Urs you too larry! I love men about 8-10 yrs older And both of you are attractive due to your large funny brains!! My dad was one funny father whole neighborhood full of kids would come to the door then ask if my dad to come out do tricks and tell jokez Those kids didnt want myself or brother THEY WANTED MR BUTLER! Dad also passed out cookies I think if still alive he would have done quite well on CURB AS FOR DAVES SHOW DAD WAY A BIT SHY COULDNT DO STAND UP BUT COULD COME UP WITH HALARIOUSLY FUNNY OFF THE CUFF STUFF LARRY, DAVE.. want a cookie? Polly isnt well!!
Larry the greatest!!! Dave… nooot so much.

Good God he really does look like Dr. Strangelove
If Dave was still in his villain era at this time, I think he and Larry would have had way more chemistry than this. Larry is a lifelong curmudgeon and misanthrope, Dave I think only pretended to be one, but actually really cared about people.
Larry just seems like he doesn't like people but he does, and sometimes he doesn't. People get under his skin and that's funny.
