MONUMENTAL !!!!!!!!!! Un duo entre les deux amis ( ils se connaissent depuis le début des années 70 pour les connaisseurs à l'époque du baked potato un très célèbre club de Jazz de los Angeles situé dans les quartiers nord d'Hollywood ) extraordinaire Lee ritenour que j'ai vu en concert à Paris et je garde le meilleur pour la fin MONSIEUR LARRY CARLTON le dieu vivant( un génie absolu l'homme au toucher et au phrasé MIRACULEUX !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! le guitariste préféré de Donald fagen de steely dan pour les connaisseurs ça vous classe un musicien quand à Steve lukather il dit que c'est la plus extraordinaire technique qu'il ai vu sur un manche de guitare !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ) de la musique et de la guitare mon artiste préféré tout genre et toute époque confondue ( avec l'autre extra terrestre pat metheny un dieu vivant lui Aussi) ils venaient quand ils ont donné cette série de concert au Japon d'enregistrer l'album Larry and Lee qui est pour moi le plus bel album de guitare de l'histoire de la musique tout simplement !!!!!!!!!!!!! Regardez écoutez ces deux génies de la guitare ( la technique et la vitesse ne sont rien sans la spiritualité) vous allez vous régaler . GIGANTESQUE FABULEUX AHURISSANT ET ETERNEL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EXTRAORDINAIRE !!!!!!!!!!! Dernière chose les musiciens qui les accompagnent ( régulièrement) sont bien sûr extraordinaire eux aussi Rick Jackson en tête ( c'est le claviériste de Carlton depuis longtemps en concert) INOUBLIABLE !!!!!!!!!! MONSTRUEUSEMENT BEAU pour un morceau passé depuis longtemps à la postérité.( Je rappelle que le ROOM 335 est le studio d'enregistrement que DIEU ( Larry Carlton) à installé au sous sol de sa maison en Californie.) DÉFINITIVEMENT MYTHIQUE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dernière chose bien sûr j'ai vu DIEU ( Larry Carlton) de nombreuses fois en concert à Paris et à chaque fois c'était Prodigieux mais était ce utile de le préciser ? !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was intentional. Larry Carlton worked on Aja and sought permission from Fagen and Becker to lift the chord sequence from Peg but adapted it slightly

It's funny. I have loved this tune forever, and have had this LP since the 1970s! I was just over watching Matteo Mancuso's rendition of this song and a few things come to mind. 1. Matteo is beyond talented and does full justice to this (and so many other) tune/s. 2. Larry Carlton is one of the best and most influential of guitarists -- ahead of his time and here again he shows why. 3. Lee Ritenour's solo seems shallow and weak by comparison to both -- sort of one dimensional. Of course, I WISH I could play like him, so who the heck am I to say??
