Sorry to say that, but i can´t stand these guitar affects any longer, how about a chorus and delay and that´s it. Luke´s solo CD´s are a very good example what i don´t like! A guitar should sounds like guitar and like a computer system! My 50 cent

Luke plays like himself with his own sound. You dont have to like it, but to suggest he should remove his effects would be like suggesting vincent van gogh to only use chalk... i think he should create his art his way :)

This is the first time I have heard this version, normally going straight to Jeff Beck’s live version at Ronnie Scott’s. This version blew me away. It is a moving piece of music that needs playing by more guitarists in many years to come.

The initial caption in the video itself, is incorrect "cause we've ended UP as lovers" - amazing how that one little "up" reverses the entire intent of the title... Wonderful rendition!

No idea why so many negative comments - and now 11 yrs later, they sure haven't aged well. I;m just happy to find such a great rendition and I'm sure there was nothing but love n respect for Jeff at this time. Its well know that Luke and JB were good friends. My god people just appreciate 2 of the best player we (still) have playing their guts out...

Two of my favorite guitarists, but still seems they have to be two to simulate what one, the greatest guitarist in the world who recently passed (RIP Jeff) could do with the greatest of ease blindfolded. No disrespect to Larry or Steve, Jeff Beck was simply another breed of guitarist.

as a musician, I know the feeling of a performance that even transcends ones own expectations. This version is not an 'every night' kind of performance. It was magical!
