They are my gals. I wanted so bad to see them live when they were in Minneapolis but that is 250 miles south of me. I hade one friend willing to go but when I checked out ticket prices, all of the premium tickets that included a meet and greet, were gone. There is no way I was making a 500 mile round trip without meeting them in person. Since I need someone to take me to such events, I need to make worth their while too. Funny they are not normally my kind of music (old country), but there is something about them I can’t get enough. Rebecca’s voice and Megan (Slide Queen) on lap steel, are an awesome combination.

First time I listened I hated it, but I was in a state of shock over the horrific event that our city experienced in the early hours of the morning (bridge collapse...) Listened again just now and - it's pretty good. If it were "my kind of music" it would be fantastic to me. Great lyrics, amazing voice and passion. I'm still in total shock, tho'. Seems surreal. (Mothman, anyone?)

I know what you mean. I felt the same shock when the bridge collapsed near Minneapolis, a number of years ago. that was 250 miles away, so I cannot imagine what the shock must be like when it’s your own own city.

@@mintonmiller Thanks, Minton. Yes, some people have commented about that bridge in Minnesota. It's a huge shock. I'm trying to get my head on straight.

@@mintonmiller Maybe... _All kinds of thoughts_ have gone through our minds. Our bridges have been a known point of vulnerability for over 22 years now, you know? Was it maintenance on the ship? Everything is computerized now. Was something hacked?? Cargo ships - from all over the world, I guess - are now trapped in the Port of Baltmore and can't get out. No ships can come in. As to the ship in question - I think the company is Sri Lankan and the ship came from Singapore, or vice versa. It's staggering. Sorry!🤐The thing is, on the second listen I found a lot of reasons to like the song a whole lot more. 😊

@@tonkabeanpumpkin-fh4fz most of their material is original songs Rebecca writes most of them. Megan playing lap steel has a lot to do with why I live them because I play dobro which is similar. Megan designed her lap steel and her current one is made by the same guy that made Abbie Gardner’s dobro (Paul Beard). Wouldst that I could afford one of those. 🤠
