Great voice. I think there is room for improvement in pronunciation french and coordinating with placido. But what can you expect from one day preparation - perfection? Most dont get to this level even with years of practicing. Very impressed.

Here's an interesting experiment. Pause the video at 5:33 when he leans in close to the camera. Now cover the left side of his face (the side closest to the door). His right 1/2 looks friendly, amiable, smiling. Now cover the other side (closest to the stairs). Suddenly he looks dark, intimidating, almost menacing. Interesting how our faces can reflect such different emotion. BTW, I think both sides of his face are gorgeous.

Placido, in turn, expressed admiration for Dimash’s talent and himself suggested it to him at the “Virtuosi” project this year, where they were both on the jury along with other celebrities. There, Dimash sang “Ave Maria” to the accompaniment of cellist Hauser. One of Dimash’s educations is opera; at one time he refused a place in the capital’s opera in order to follow his own path. Commented on this reaction 3 months ago, but I rewatch it now and then when I need a jolt of humor. Dan's singing talent and ability to draw us into his performances dramatically is well known. Watching it again today, it reminded me that the apology part was so sincere and believable and, as an American, had me feeling apprehensive first time I saw it. He's such a likeable rascal! Hope Dan never stops singing, but he is also a consummate actor.

Since I found Dan through Amazing Grace in October last year, I have been able to get to know new bands, singers and songs through his music that were previously unknown to me. Great reaction to a wonderful song. My kids have all loved the old Disney Tarzan movie where that song came from. My grandkids still do (at least the eight who live in this household). Thank you very much for choosing this one. Dan does a terrific job (as usual) of bringing the original to mind right away, yet still presenting his very special Dan presence. It would be nice if you could get an interview. Viking Reacts is really hoping for that, as well.
