they were not directing people on what to say during that vh1 era. the main thing that was done by production was the challenges they had to do on those love shows, and the funny edits they did to make it more entertaining. but for the most part it was not as scripted then vs now, so bootz being weird. FOL didn’t even become scripted until season 3 because it was so boring.
