I started watching your videos last year December cos I broke my laptop and wanted to fix it by myself. I fixed it with guidlines from your video. In April this year, started a business inspired by videos I'd watched from Sorine. Today I have ammased not much wealth, but priceless experience. And Ive kept increasing it. Shalom from Nigeria.

I'am a beginner on electronics and I must thank you because with your tutorial, most of the time high level ones, I am learning a lot anyway. Would be nice, if possible, in your explanation to go a bit down level for the biginners, as myself. Thanks a lot.
Thank you , Your explanation of things is fantastic and easy to understand, i knew very little about electronics and had basic tools . Your video saved me a screen replacement on my laptop. Thank you once again 👍

Today is the 24th exactly a month ago on the 20th, you destroyed the screen, so you claimed that it was not worth repairing, and today is a different story, it all comes down to the success or failure of the repair, that's the theory you're talking about, not that everything is timely, and the value of the job, I really appreciate you, your job is not doggy but your story about it is.Everything can be fix is just a matter of how much one wants to give effort to do it. nice repair sorin. have a good half term..
Keep the great work.. love you sir
this is not abut money if u Can Fixed Just Fixed .... respect

You're the best tech person I have ever seen just want to ask if bad screen showing white can be repaired
A tip for applying 'AmTech' flux, on a budget... Cut a hotglue stick to about the length of the AmTech tube. Heat it up at the end. Stick it in the back of the AmTech flux tube, in the middle. The idea is to glue it to the piston only. Not to the sides. So don't push too hard and don't heat it up like you would do for a hinge repair. Let it cool and you have a nice plunger, so you can operate it as a syringe, with one hand and without having to poke it with a screwdriver.
Im totally agree with replacing the fuse 🤗
love you sir. love you work.
as big as ever! happy holiday
Nice repair
Nice repair :) Suspect most places don't have the skill (or inclination) to do component level repair like this - easier for them to replace at modular level. Shame, as a society these skills are being lost to supposedly new products which are somehow better and people think they are getting better value somehow :/
them some ppl waist time to change the parts with the exact replacement. when i see SORIN i always smile and think how easy can life be. Remove and use a wire and let go
Thank you sir!

@@BartAnderson_writer I really appreciate Sorin. I wrote in Romanian as usual. The translation would be: "Good speech, good man, has logic in troubleshooting, finds fault, explains like a teacher, but in the end uses wire instead of fuse." I found it funny, in the context where in Romania we have a national problem with this type of problem solving.
Thank you

Hi First i love all your videos and i love to repair things thanks your help i started fixing Smartphones and Laptops with good results!!! Thanks for this but like always the people want more so maybe u can make a future video about this kind of problem i will tell u !!! I have now an Acer Aspire Nitro V17 Black Edition with mainboard problems! It doesn't start and dont charge the Battery! I checked the 19v rail and the 5 v rail and also the 3.3v rail all are ok but the only one the BIOS Chip doesnet get 3.3V on pin 8 as it should by checking this i found out this rail goes to a capacitor which goes to Ground, it's not shorted and bevore the capacitor there is also a connection to the TPS65982 Chip but this Chip is just for the USB C Type jack and for PD i dont think that this chip should provide the 3.3V for the BIOS Chip and i found nothing other where this line goes to it ends at the chip i dont see whats under it!! But the next thing is can the missing 3.3V on the BIOS Chip Cause also the not Charging Battery problem??? I tried to measure the Battery with the Multimeter but i dont get any readings so maybe its dead but it should work with only PSU and it didnt and also the BIOS Battery is empty i buy a new tomorrow! But this is also not the solution!!!
what type of fuse did u use to solder ?
I am desperately in need of help. I believe I have the same 1366x768 panel with Green colour not working but on a different (from the one in the video) HP notebook. Also I have another donor laptop which has a known to work panel of the same panel size. Even though I thought of replacing the panel myself, the connector on the motherboard is different in these two. Because as I saw on the donor laptop, the wifi antenna is also integrated with the cable that comes to the motherboard from the lid. I still have not checked the connector on the display with the bad panel, but just in case, would I be lucky if these two have similar connectors? Is it safe to plug and power on the notebook if the connector on the display fits?
Thank you very much. I have a Toshiba satellite laptop. The lower half of the screen is blank and the upper half is good. I can see the full screen on external monitor when I connect my laptop to external monitor. All the comments on the internet advised to replace the screen. Is this something reparable or I have to replace it? using VGA cable. Thanks again for the good videos

Hi, can I also do this for a 0603 smd..?
i love your videos Mr. Sorin.Thank you sir. i have a challenge with Samsung sense @t is dead. i traced the power rail for 19v, there is 19v untill the first mosfet but no 19v on the output of the second mosfet, i then removed the second mosfet but cannot find the same type of mosfet and so i connected the legs directly using calibrated wire but am getting a short. i tried using petrol to see what is getting hot but i see the calibrated wire area shaking when i introduce 19v and the 19v does not pass the second mosfet. what could be the problem?
Hi, I got a AOS motherboard that died/does not boot up, is it possible to estimate a cost for a basic check what could be wrong? This motherboard is from a kickstarter project and was made by Gigabyte and could run mac os out of the box after replacing the bios code. Some people say it is the bios chip itself that needs to be replaced. It died on me while running and after I got the backup bios loaded I could start it up again but after a week or so it died again.
you are amazing !!!!!!!

Sometimes unplugging the part and plugging it back in if you don't have a blown fuse or short can sometimes get it working. Switching RAM around when it reads you're shy a stick will sometimes recognize the stick again.

Hello Master
With a Thermal cam ist this easy to find!
I really like all your videos but I kind of get a little concerned about leaving components off. You know that if the manufacturer could have done without it they would have left it off to save cost. I would like for you to do a demonstration of the fusing wires you use to replace actual fuses. set up several strands of the wire you use for different size fuse replacement and demonstrate them carrying the proper current AND opening at the proper current. You may already have done this as I have not watched ALL your videos. I have watched a great many of them though. I appreciate all you show us! THANK YOU!

Teil On the Battery i can read that it should be charged with 13V and 2.5A but i did not find a 13V PSU on the Board maybe the problem is here and its shorted or something i will follow that trace tomorrow maybe it will result in a working Laptop or maybe one of your next videos will help me out thanks for all and go on this way please!!!!!!!!!!!!! To see these small 3v lines without a microscope is verry verry difficult so i think i have better chances to fix this when my microscope arrived!!
