Wow....Amelia, I've never cried at a travel vlog before but somehow you've made them come!! I am so pleased you had the chance to visit Finland for it seems to have done you the world of good and given you time for some inner reflection. I will 100% be switching my plan from iceland to finland now after watching this. Thank You for taking the time to sit and talk to us about this amazing country. Amelia this is my favourite vlog you've done and I'm definitely going to start saving! Autumn is my favourite time of year and I really want to see the northern lights. Those pods look amazing! The whole trip looks stunning! Thank you for sharing this with us in the way you did. It's a rare thing to be able to find that peacefulness in the UK. I find it when I'm walking in the Yorkshire dales sometimes but even the roads etc.. there seem to be getting busier every year. Sounds like this trip came at the perfect time ❤❤❤

Great video and a beautiful description of finnish nature and everything. As a finn, it made me think how easy it is to take all that for granted while living in here. Especially the things one usually doesn't pay attention to, such as clean air. I do some hiking every now and then, and I agree with you: being in silence in the middle of nowhere is good for the mind.

Finland looks amazing but I was very distracted by how emotional you clearly are in this video - I really do feel for you and hope you are feeling a bit better each day. You seem so incredibly strong. I'm hoping to see the northern lights when I go to Iceland in December but will definitely keep Finland on my list, particularly if I don't end up seeing the lights!

What an absolutely lovely experience Amelia. I adore Finnish Lapland, I've been to Ruka a couple of times, and it does have something very special about it. Oh I need to go back! Sleeping in one of those domes has been on my bucket list for years - green with envy there!! If you want some company when you choose to spend some time outdoors here in the UK, I'd be very happy to take you for a walk to the top of a hill somewhere x

I love this style Amelia. I'm so glad you have had a chance to be just you, in a few videos I'd watched you was looking tense & no lost isn't the right word, but maybe be running from pillar to post, where in this video, you are relax and calm. I remember the word before technology - yes I'm that old - lying in bed on a Sunday morning the only noise the church bells & the wood pigeons. Not worrying how many hit's I'd had on my blog, not worried if I'd missed a message on Facebook, what tweet I'd missed, but now we all run around phone in hand - tied to it. I don't know if I've missed any of you video's as I've been busy with the grandchildren, but you look a lot better than last time. As for Finland - I'm so jealous the top of my bucket list is the Northern Lights & have been since I read about them when I was a little girl. They sound amazing & I'm off to Instagram to see your photo's. xx Hug Jane xx

Hi Amelia! Came across this video when i was researching on an itinerary for my Finland trip this coming Oct, which is not a very popular season as compared to winter / summer! Your vblog is really helpful at least Im more clear about the activities and places which worth visiting in Autumn! Just a quick check with you if you pay for a tour for your hiking day in national park? Do you think it is possible to trek without a tour (free and easy)? Or the trail is complicated which is recommended to follow a guide? Hope to hear from you soon, thank you :)
