✍️Who am I?
I'm Daiki, originally from Kyoto, Japan. I moved to Finland for my masters degree in business in 2016 and now I'm working in the capital area, Helsinki. Through this channel I'm hoping to share my experience in Finland and sometimes abroad, including culture, career, lifestyle and travel diaries.
I actively share my experience and learnings on Twitter and in my blog. Also, don't forget to subscribe this channel as I upload a video about Finnish culture and Nordic lifestyle EVERY WEEKEND! :)

You said "Being active from morning is nice. Or do you prefer staying in bed?" - Heh, I'm 64 and just retired. Nowadays I usually sleep until noon. I read comics (love them), I play PC games on the Internet all night or watch TV and movies until the wee hours. At first I felt somewhat ashamed, even though no one else knew. It's that inner Finnish moral guard in my head which whispered that I shouldn't live like that. I should wake up early, go to sleep early, be decent and productive and do things that are "generally approved" for people of my age. But then I thought that I've always been a little rebel at heart and it's nobody else's business how I spend my days. 😜

Beautiful destination
As a former Environmet and Energy Engineer student, we visited that plant too, it produces a lot of far heat, which is common method of heating the houses, and that plant took 500k to 1 million peoples trashes and produced 40% of heat that City of Vantaa needs. Nowadays we don't have landfills anymore usually because all the trash is burned in 5 facilities around Finland.
That was really very active weekend! Now you need to have some rest 😁 ramen soup looks delicious 🫰🏼 amazing vlog! 😊

What a lovely weekend you had! I love weekend days when it’s raining cats and dogs. Those are the only days that I feel that I ”can” just stay in bed the whole day if I want to. Otherwise I feel that the whole day is wasted if I don’t get out and have something to do 😳. I should book myself few staycations at home, I think.
