I was contemplating about going with LED's in mine but with the lights i want to be accurate with mine to what the lapd use, seeing that car with them lights gives me rhe excuse to go with it now 😆

Looks to be a traffic unit aswell
This is by far the best response channel around. Thank you! It is fitting the first unit was the super cruiser Crown Vic. The newer Dodge Chargers are getting deserved respect.

Thank you so much for the kind words!
great catches Zach ! I loved those motor units because you dont see LAPD motors rolling code 3 too often on KZread. Great footage of what looked like that felony stop.
Crown victoria for life 😎😎😎
I didn't know LAPD hat Ford Taurus Units. Always thought they had crown vics, chargers and explorers. Awesome videos btw 😍👍
4:17 the vics are so old that the spotlight handles don’t work and they have to move them manually. Sad to see they aren’t getting maintained very well
I owned a crown vic and loved it. The entire panther platform has every right to be considered a legend and a piece of americana, since they got so much more use besides just being cop carss. With that said however, the newest ones you can get are 12 years old. Basically anything that is used nowadays handles better and has much more power. Plus, in snowy states, officers would much rather have AWD instead of RWD.
6:47 LAPD with a q lol

Nice catches and happy Halloween
I’m owning a original LASD crown Vic in the Netherlands. I’m searching the right radio broadcasting channel for LA. What one are you listening too in this video?

I can recomment you a LA Captain channel with great LAPD live broadcats or Broadcastify

I was listening to LAPD on a programmed XTS5000R. Broadcastify is another way to listen to LAPD but the feed is slightly behind
Too much use of cross screen filter in the night shots--it makes the rest of the image too blurry. Otherwise, great collection!
one question what is the call sign for the motor unit is it mary sam let me know thank you
Those Ford Taurus in LAPD are front wheel drive, or all wheel drive?
Cool video
2:54 I hope I look cool in Zach's video.
I remember when our sheriff department had Crown Vics. Man I miss those badass cars

@@mrtiesthatbind my department don't use chargers. They use shitty Ford Explorers. Besides, its not the same seeing 2012 Crown Vics on the road

@@XvlerLorenzo if you don't mind my asking, where do you live? I live in New Bern and we have plenty of Chargers here despite rubbish Explorers still dominate. You are right about Crown Vics. I miss the good old days when 70 per cent of police cars were Crown Vics. Criminals were already terrified when seeing them approaching. Not to mention the reliability and durability. Their V8 engine roars like a beast and the chassis can take a beating unlike modern cars nowadays. Crown Vics are like tanks to me. They're not the fastest but very dependable. I reckon Crown Vics are the most popular and successful police cars. They sit above Chargers in the first place on my list

Awesome 👍🔥
Awesome!
Can't believe they are still using the Ford crown Victoria most be over twelve years old.
Does anyone know who makes and what model the arrow stick in the rear windshield of the explorer is?
I always love seeing the Crown Vics🥵
Ford Crown Victoria 🙌
Arjent on first CVPI badly needs replacing

@@chpman2013 that’s pretty sick, I’m sure it helps with stolen cars and stuff. How does it mount does federal signal sell a specific mount or like and adapter plate and wire extensions for the hot feet or something similar

@@BraidenskiNAE that's what it's designed for.....yeah, pretty much all of the CA model Valors have hot-feet mounts where you could have either steady burning lights, ALPR cameras, or both (depending on how you configure them).
