I got to the correct response about halfway through the time that was given. I remembered an episode of Master Minds, a show on Game Show Network. It was an episode in Season 1, where a contestant faced an Ultimate Trivia Question with $10,000 on the line. It asked about a landmark that stood 630 feet tall and 630 feet wide. I knew it had to be the same landmark in play tonight.

How quickly people forget that the Eiffel Tower has *four* legs and can't possibly be as wide as it is tall. That other statue was an even more ridiculous answer! I guess climate protesters cut off two of it's legs on their way to the Louvre.
My guess for this Final Jeopardy Clue would have been 1 of the following 3. 1: Gateway Arch 2: Sydney Harbour Bridge 3: Christ The Redeemer
First thought was the Sydney Harbour Bridge, except for the "legs" bit. The bridge deck is as wide as the distance from water to the deck: 160 ft.
FYI, the Gateway Arch is in the shape of both a catenary curve and a hyperbolic cosine. It was completed in 1965 and is the tallest monument in the United States. It's original official name was the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial until the Gateway Arch became its official (instead of just unofficial) name when it was redesignated as the center of the Gateway Arch National Park in 2018, currently the smallest National Park by land area in the country.
Got it. The geometric description was the giveaway for me.
This is a clue where deduction would come into play if you can't think of the Arch right away. The Eiffel Tower as wide as it is tall, seriously?

C'mon people - this one was a gimmee!
Really surprised this was a triple stumper!
How could anyone think that was hard or misleading? That was an easy one.
I wouldn’t have had time to write it down, but did come up with it at the last second. The people in Missouri were probably screaming at their TVs. If I get tomorrow's FJ I'll have a perfect week for only the second time ever.

I live in NJ and I was screaming it at my TV.
Tough answer. I've visited it but I didn't remember it's dimensions.
Being from Greater St Louis, we all know it's the arch, and that it's 630 feet tall; it's an actual test question for schools around here (at least in my day), but many probably don't realize it's only 630 feet tall or that it's as tall as it is wide, because of the skewed perspective from the air that it's taller than it is wide. You realize how wide it is when you go there.
As soon as I saw 630, I knew right away what the correct response was. I’ve been up there twice, the first being 2001 the second being 2013. I saw it in pictures before, but the first time I saw it in person, I was just blown away.
Got it. 😀
That's an easy one... although someone should let them know that the Eiffel Tower had four legs.
I thought the question was too obvios.

True, the Arc de Triomph as about as wide as it is tall, but it's height is only 164 feet.
My guess was "Eiffel Tower" 😔
I'm amazed none of the contestants got it. If I can get it, it must be pretty easy (I don't tend to do well on these final jeopardy questions). Funny thing is the Eiffel Tower came to my mind first, the answer two of the contestants gave. But I dismissed it quickly since I'm pretty sure it has four legs (and it is quite tall). Also, Jesus must have put on some weight if the Christ the Redeemer statue is as wide as it is tall.
Weird. To me the answer was obvious. Two legs, as wide as tall? Gotta be something somewhat circular, so it's the Arch. I laughed because I though of Christ the Redeemer squatting or something...!
Feels good but frustrating at the same time when I get it right and none of the contestants do. Pulling for someone to answer correctly.😊
Feels great when the THREE contestants fail to a FJ that I got correctly. Knew the answer right away (was reading about Eero Saarinen last week !!)
