You guys provide some amazing instructional guidance that I use with my students regardless of the type of aircraft they fly. Much of what you teach is universal. I am studying for my Pilot certificate because of all the videos of you, Trent, Jonas and Cory. I'm used to watching you guys land at these insane places and i think it is really cool that you showed the safety side of flying by choosing not to land at certain places because of the wind. Man I love watching you guys fly. Some day I will be up there with you guys. The more I learn the more I understand how special that type of flying is and how talented you guys are. Stay safe so I can watch more of your videos. Take care.

I am way too old and to busted up to learn to fly, one of the great regrets of my life I didn't learn when I had the opportunity as a young man. I can honestly say that these videos of you and your friends flying the back country are some of the best visual expressions I have ever seen of the purest form of freedom that exists in the human experience. Never take a single minute of it for granted, old age gets here before ya know it, and sure as heck before ya expect it. I recognize many of the places you fly to, I am a bit of a desert rat myself, and love northern Nevada.

@@Bigtirepilot You are too kind, I am 61. Feels like breakfast comes around about every 15 minutes. I will send you an email when I get a chance this coming week.. As much as I would like to take you up on that offer I am not sure it is possible. Kevin good to see your videos again, saw you on Trents video and was going to give you some grief about not posting much. Then I went to your page and saw you have been posting. I am a sub but just haven't been seeing your stuff. Enjoy your flying and talking thru your thought processes of flying and landing. I pucker a little watching the skipping on the water, seems a bit risky to me. Thanks for your videos.

Cool, you paid some attention too those "bad boys" shark fin looking flap fences 7:14 Made a comment on Palmer's last video about that bird. Love to know if any noticeable performance gains are had. Looks cool though.

Have you ever tried releasing smoke to allow you to actually see wind currents in these situations? If it would work it would be interesting to watch.
