I've read plenty on the internet that says the beads on Land Rover tyres is bloody good and they hold on really well, meaning you can lower the tyres pressure and not have to worry about popping the tyre off the bead. So I decided lets put it to the test and see if they live up to the hype that I've read - spoiler alert they didn't disappoint

I didn't add it into the video, but the Land Rover rims can be just as painful to reset the bead as it is breaking them. The inside bead is ok to reseat, however the outside bead can be a pain. If you like this video please give it a thumbs up and drop a comment on your thoughts

I'm gong to fly against the grain here and say I'm not really a fan - Its just readily available everywhere.
Quite a bit of engineering into a rim. Explains why when I bring tires in to swap out on my LR the indy shop tech seems to get disgruntled. Anyway a great vid and topic for the Rover...never seen that covered anywhere. Nice job Shane.

Thought it would be a fun subject to test out ( I was planning to use the falkens that are currently on my disco and put them onto the GQ. Ran into an issue when I couldn’t for the life of me get the replacement tyres to seat on the outside bead of the disco rim - 55psi and still no go. So the falkens are staying on the disco and I’ll run the old (but practically new tread) dunlops that I’ve had sitting around on the GQ
What are you doing with the old 15s could use them on the navara
