i love how Mugabe is always desperately bashing the British whenever he gets an opportunity, yet he clearly has a British obsession - he always drives British cars (land rovers & Rolls Royce), his army officers wear blatantly British style uniforms, his suits are tailored in London, he was reportedly crushed to find out his knighthood had been stripped.

And when he got sick he didn't even trust his own doctors or hospitals, he fled the country and sought health care in -- Singapore. Wouldn't even go to South Africa for medical treatment.

Land is for all zimbabweans, regardless of skin colour, From 1890 British South Africa Company,{ BSAC, } entered the area we now know as Zimbabwe, and helped themselves, to the land of native Shona people, but in 1924 , 1936, 1948, Land of Zimbabwe was being distributed, only to white settlers, no one uttered racism then, the real change zimbabwe need is transferer of economy, and Land is the economy, if Zimbabweans do not empower themselves now, they will never do it under MDC and affliates

Mali. GDP Per Capita (2023): $2,640. ... Sierra Leone. GDP Per Capita (2023): $2,100. ... Somalia. GDP Per Capita (2023): $2,000. Notes: The list left out South Sudan which is poorest in the world. Africa should be the wealthiest on earth but problems with honesty and greed have stagnated any kind of growth. Africa would be better run as dictatorships and or socialism because the people will revolt given a charismatic leader who can sway mobs with promises of land. The only way forward is with military governments that can control the populace and expel agitators.

White farmers were so luck to have more than 3000 hactares farmland each. They should have donated 2000 hactares each to black farmers surely whites are Zimbabwean too but they should that sense of belonging. They provocked the war vets as the war of liberation was mainly to regain access to land. Whites can can still apply for land but on equal basis with black majority. The whites were using slave labour for them to become robust, if we give blacks a chance they will prosper too.

A better analogy would be, 60-70 years later, after you have spent thousands of dollars, and devoted decades of your life to restoring the car and getting it running as pristine as possible, to the point that it is almost unrecognisable to the state you found it, and then out of the blue about 100 people turn up one day, all demanding that they are the rightful inherited owners, but without any kind documentation to prove so, but they don’t bother worrying about any of that, and just threaten, intimidate and then eventually loot it from you entirely, along with all the nice groceries and furniture that you had just purchased.

@@matthew22nz the problem is not only Mugabe's fault, although he contributed a greater part of the collapse of that country.
