This was our wedding song and the storyline of the lyrics fit us PERFECTLY. Everyone at our wedding was in awe and had a giggle at how perfectly every lyric fit. 🥰 thank you for creating "our" song. My husband plays it for me whenever he makes us a romantic dinner, and dances with me in the kitchen, our backyard, etc. We danced in the living room to this song for the first time as a family of 3 when we had our son in April 2020. 16 years married to my middle school sweetheart. 10 years infantry, 3 combat deployments, 2 teenagers and we are still going hard in the paint!! The whole family sings this song together!! EDIT: Jan 5th 2024 We hit the big 20 years married this year and I am trying to learn the guitar so I can play this at our wedding. We never had a real wedding because we ran away and got married at 17 and 16. Damn I'm crying as write this, but it's happiness and I can't believe we have made it so far. Neither one of us graduated highschool but - we did and do attend college- my wife is a Nurse Manager and the military helped me on my heroes journey. My youngest just turned 18, and both my kids are in monogamous long term relationships and they make me so proud. We chose our own path from the beginning- and it turned out to be a cheat code. The last few years have been hard on everyone, and they will get harder. Chin down, eyes up and cut the angles to move forward. Life is very short - I watched it leave the eyes of friends, family and enemies. Find people to love and never stop.

I'm just gonna say when I was 14 and I first laid eyes on my (now) husband, I knew he was gonna be my husband. The first sight of him is so vivid its like a movie in my head even 10 years later I can tell you everything he was wearing, every movement he made, where every other person was in the room. I'd never experienced anything like it before and not anything like it again until the moment I gave birth to our son 7 years later. From the moment I saw him I would always tell everyone that he was my future husband, and that was before he even knew I existed. I could never pull my eyes away from him, I would get butterflies so bad just sitting next to him. We started dating 5 months after that first moment, married 3 years later, and first kid 3 years after that. We're soulmates through and through, I never stopped loving him from that first moment 10 years ago. I aint gonna lie, we are the best love story that town had ever seen.

Went on a helicopter ride around downtown St Petersburg, the Skyway and St Petersburg beach during the sunset and used some of the lyrics in this song in my proposal.. she cried, smiled and said YES!!! I told her i forgot something in the car while waiting for the helicopter, went to car and spread out over 3 dozen rose pedals throughout the car for when we got off helicopter! It was an amazing experience and opportunity to be able to do during the sunset on a beautiful evening in Florida!!! We only live 40 minutes north of where helicopter took off and that would of been a hell of a long ride home if she didn't say yes though!!!!

I am a single mom to a three year old boy and I never thought I would find love. Well, love found me in a man that I could have only dreamt of. Ironically, this was one of the first songs I ever sent him and if we get married, this will be our first dance. I can't listen to it and not cry. God has blessed me and for anyone else out there doubting themselves or that things will work out in the end, they will. I think we hang on to the reminders of them and the tangible things that bring us comfort. You seem like a good man and I told my ex, I just want you to be happy even if that means it's with someone else. One of the biggest mistakes/regrets of my life is losing him but he moved away, built a new life and is going to be getting engaged soon. We all get one great love story. I just hope I get to feel half of how he made me feel again in this life.

Growing up I always dreamt I'd have a love story like this. I always imagined myself old, with the love of my life, telling our grandchildren we were just their age when we met, grew up together, loved eachother our entire lives... alas, life has different plans. Now I'm not sure I'll ever find the love of my life and that's fine.

How unbelievable that this is my story to the fullest and now we are happy with a 1 year old 2 month little boy who was born premature during covid and is now healthy and sooo smart . My world is complete and this was how my story went to the T . One of my favorite songs for life !

My husband of almost 2 years reconnected after 30 years. We dated in middle school then went our separate ways, got married to other people, had kids. He found me on social media & reconnected while I was going thru my divorce . He chose this special song that we danced at our wedding. Best decision I ever made, we are both so in love. ❤️

The only Lanco song that’s actually good that I like.

Me and my girlfriend broke up a couple years ago. Been friends, on and off however. Now we are in college and I still seem to not be able to shake these feelings, while she has found someone else. This song and these comments make me feel better, I’ve tried dating and talking to other girls, but it’s just not the same. I hope one day I can get one more chance, but I guess until then I have to just not think about it. I’m in the middle of my own “greatest love story”, and this is the toughest part. Here’s to hoping one day I can come back to this comment and hope, no matter what happens, that I can really find happiness and not hurt so much :)

I met the man of my dreams right before moving away for four years of med school. I thought time, and meeting new people would make me forget him but it hasn't. Sometimes this song would come on the radio each day at the time (month/day) of my birthday, or when I was having a bad day. I pray that timing will bring us back together if it's in God's plan.

There is a girl Ive known for 6 years, ive had a crush on her for 6. She's my best friend and we would do anything for each other. She's been there for me when times in my life got tough and im always there for her. We have so many memories and inisde jokes i cant even count them. But she just sees me as a friend. And it hurts like hell. Her family knows me very well and her dad loves me. There's nothing that she does that i dont like. But in less than a year her and I will be going to college to persue our separate dreams, mine being becoming an engine builder for NASCAR and heading down south (im from NE Go Pats) I just hope she doesn't forget about me, cause there will always be a spot in my heart for her. Yeah, the one that got away hurts real bad man. I think of her every now and then, and it hurts a lot. I just wish I had the balls then to go and tell her, I probably had a shot. Can’t believe it’s been 6 years since this song dropped.

My mom was on a ventilator, we had all known she wasn't going to survive. Her & her boyfriend, who is also like a stepdad to me, were supposed to get married in October. We were lucky enough to do a blessing of a relationship at the hospital which would symbolize the marriage. We played this song, before the ceremy. 3 months later and it still hurts like a fresh wound. Today is also her birthday.

My girlfriend and I started dating in high school, I was a senior she was a junior. Went on to date for a year and a few months and ended up splitting for about 2 months and got back together for another year and a 1/2. Split again because she was about to go to college across the county just to find out she decided to stay at community college. I did my best of over time to try to rekindle our love for each other and eventually did after being broken up for 5 months. We just broke up again after being with each other for another 9 months and continued our relationship when she went to college 2 hours away. School work and her future is more important than a relationship so we called it quits. She’s my best friend and love of my life, I sure hope things come back around for us later on in life and almost represents this music video.

I’m right now in love with this boy! He’s my everything and I close my eyes every night to imagine what my future would look like with him in it. He’s truly my best friend, we tease each other everyday in math and talk all the time. Im currently in love with this song cause it reminds me of him and me. We both admitted to liking each other and I don’t know what’s gonna happen next. Right now we’re just trying to get closer before we make any major moves. I hope this is a begging to the greatest love story our towns ever seen. It’s currently August 29, 2021 and while time past I’ll keep you updated on how this love story goes. It’s currently September 11th: we talk so much, practically every day now. He still hasn’t asked me out yet but we still like each other. On Wednesday his friend called me ugly and he started getting pretty defensive and apparently he started arguing with him over me. Then on thursday his other friend asked me if I still like a previous/past crush and then they all started talking in a small circle in line after.
