The truth doesn’t always come out. There are many many competitive riders that doped and was not caught. A rider must dope to be competitive. Lance was singled out because cycling is Europe’s sport. They won’t have an American dominating their sport.

Even many of his competitors were kicked out of the Tour, especially in 1999. Imagine how Lance could dope to the gills, while his competitors were worried about testing positive, especially after the Festina affair. Lance knew that was his opportunity. Every sport says that. I’d put cycling in the top 3, but I’ve never felt worse than I felt after a 50km XC ski race. Took a week to recover. I’ve raced bikes for long distances and was walking normal two days later. Strangely, I felt even worse after a sailboat race that went 40 hours in a giant storm. You can’t train for getting bounced around a boat in cold driving rain for hours on end. That was hard.

Look at the banking crisis in 2008, they all thought they were too big to fail and look at the mess it caused. Same with Lance, he thought he was too much of a hero to be brought down, who'd dare take down the cancer survivor who had raised SO much money for charity?

No, he is kidding. Cycling is a very difficult sport, compared to wrestling, cycling is much difficult. In one race, a cyclist can burn as much as 2000 calories. I used to be on my schools wrestling team, and it was not fun, nor it was difficult. It is nothing compared to road cycling. I left the wrestling team, devoted into cycling. And I'll admit, wrestling was hard, but it was nothing compared to cycling.

In cycling, actually the leader spends most of his time being protected from the wind, during the Tour. The team's job is to get their leader to the base of the big climbs fresh. There's 40% or more easier riding in the big peloton, where Lance typically rode 90% of the time. It's a big fallacy that all the riders are going all-out for 7 hours at a time and that its as tough as the hyper's claim. Think about it. Sure, the TT stages they're all alone, so often they rest on the stage before and the TTs generally are pretty short,

People who don't cooperate with the Justice system always get stiffer sentences or sanctions. Also, Lance had a million dollar exclusive doping program by Dr Ferrari, while other riders bought EPO under the counter and didn't dose correctly. A HUGE difference! It's not fair to lump them all together. Lance also had the UCI president in his pocket (on his sports mgmt company payroll), This resulted in his competition getting positive tests, while Lance had a free pass. In Lance's case, it WASN'T level, when you look a lot deeper into the details. Essentially, he had a free pass to dope with the UCI president on the payroll. Lance came back from cancer and did what he knew he had to do in order to level up. His tactics were simply better than the other contenders. He became better at the game that the euros started. I’m disappointed in him for the lies and bullying, but it had to be a slippery slide to be on. I wonder what would have happened if he had said “look, we’re all doping and until there are effective tests, that’s how it’s gonna be”??

90% of pro cyclists within the last 20 years were faced with the decision of taking PEDs or going home, most of which hadn't furthered their education so they didn't have much to go home to. Lance didn't want to go home, he wanted to kick ass and he did. The man is a scapegoat, pure and simple.

He was the best cheater, that's for sure. Don't give me that BS about "everyone" is doing it, so you have to cheat to win LOL.... that's flawed logic if ever there was.... P.S. - it's Cyclist

@@Simple_Jackass so you really saying he won just because of doping?! Thats the narrative the Lance hater wants to push but even a fool knows that to be a stupid argument!! They al doped thats the truth, they al dop today, just like pretty much every elite level athletes do, so stop the whining and just admit Lance Armstrong is the best cyklist that has ever lived, and 7 tour de France wins is the proof of that!!!
