While it's nice to see this event in our town again. One question I must ask. Would it really have caused a lot of inconvenience to just stand for a minute to remember those who gave their lives on the beaches of Normandy. I think not. However in their wisdom the committee seems to have decided it wasn't worth it. In my opinion what a bunch of shithouses. Time the whole lot of cronies stood down.

Was a bit off. They did get the national anthem "God Save The King" played at least.

Sorry, not interesting. The students stood in a circle and played. I had a good view of their backs, though.

If you have ever been up a Pipe Band competition you will find the bands always form a circle and face inwards so they can watch each other playing and ensure that they play in unison.

You can't expect them to just be running about or anything what you want, they need to see the pipe major to follow his lead.
