I realized she was an amazing songwriter and lyricist. When we were recording the song, we wrote 'Dark Paradise' in-between takes of 'Summertime Sadness'…literally recording one and writing another. It was a very exciting time. That album became 'Born To Die,' which has become an iconic album".

This instrumental is absolutely perfect, you can't hear any vocals! It's just pure music. The drums, guitars, and kind of string instruments really complete it all and adds some kind of Italian/French flair to it x)

Jesus Lopez It's an electric guitar I think, something her producer Rick Nowels seems to use a lot,especially in her work not really sure what technique he's using, you hear it on Honeymoon as well gives it a kind of old school country edge which I really like
