I feel like I’m in the minority. I honestly only like a few songs on this album. My top three albums by her are Ultraviolence, then Born To Die and then Honeymoon. Don’t get me wrong. I absolutely love her music. She is my favorite female artist. But this album just didn’t really resonate with me. I love this song though.

Lana doesn't care about Grammys. They just tell you who is more popular. Grammys isn't about talent.

She's talking about fame here, how fame ruins everyone who becomes famous and they end up tragically (overdosed, by suicide, car crash etc). Like without exception. The first verse is talking about it. When she says "pretty little fool, thinking exceptions to the rule", she's basically saying "a fool for thinking you can escape this 'rule' where all these celebs get their life ruined, destroyed and end up dead". "The best ones lost their minds", she's saying this happened even to the best ones.

I think not, in my opinion the music in LUST FOR LIFE and BORN TO DIE is much better, but this current album still an amazing one.

Love the hard hitting lyrics about fame and the interesting production quirks - like the tambourine being a core instrument and the unexpected piano break early on. Definitely one of my favourites!

the verses are very AKA, but the chorus is just so transcendent and completely new from her... an instant discography highlight

Dark but just Lana, our queen. She's back and is cooler than ever. Omg, I'm so excited. The songs are amazing, the whole album is just a wonder, fuuuuck, this is all girl! We love ya Lana. I'm loving every song this is crazy. Askshdve I can't-
