I love how grunty it sounds for a 2.5l V8. It could easily be mistaken for much larger capacity, I've heard 5l and larger V8s that don't sound this beefy. And it sounds nothing like the 3l V8s in the Ferraris of the same era. Lovely thing.

Absolutely true, it sound's great for the capacity. The Ferrari V8s however had a flat plane crank shafts, that's the main reason why they sound like a four cylinder. Firing oprder is basically two four cylinders....

​​@@SBT300 In a 6 cylinder engine, the firing pulses cancel each other out, resulting in a much quieter gasoline engine while every diesel sounds pretty much the same. It's much easier to get a speeding ticket with a 6 cylinder engine if you can't hear the engine working

Stunning restoration. Love the sound - I miss it. I believe that was my old root beer painted Lambo up in Seattle that I sold to a broker who sold it to you. Wonderful to see it restored.

I had this car for 33 years and never had a problem with it. I found it very reliable. They are great cars.

Thanks for sharing this rare car that is not seen much on KZread. Just be sure when filming cars like this that you show everything long enough that we can appreciate the design elements throughout. You did a decent job showing the exterior, but it would be nice to see more of the interior before the ride along. Not sure if you are planning on doing more car videos, but if you shoot good quality audio and video of rare cars like this, you should be able to get a nice amount of views. I'm trying to build my channel and it is a lot of work!

It's the linkage. I need to adjust it better so it shifts smoother and easier. There are still a few things I need to do.

Whoa, that V8 sound is badass. I'd put it right up there with the 928.

Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU, Switzerland and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party and Gretas FFF movement gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now these green heroes want to slow down all the gas station fuel pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute to punish customers...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions- and smoke crime.... :-(
