Lamb of god Omerta cover is here!
This has actually been up for quite a while but only on Patreon.. I was saving it for something spacial. Like today. well not so much, But regardless of how spacial this Friday is for you, hopefully this makes it just a bit more of that.
Drum part is straight forward but kinda kicks your butt a little, well, my butt. the bridge of the song was def a good workout to get those ride chops up to speed, haven’t had to do that since I played jazz (when I was forced to) at LA music academy. I’m not a big fan of the style, it really bores me. a lot. but it all comes in handy eventually, you seeee?

During the part where it's only drums when flashing the sponsors, I literally closed my eyes and enjoyed the sound of the double pedals. epic.
I think even Lombardo with his dislike of single bass double pedals would have to give you a thumbs up on that performance - I have no idea why but the ending seriously caused a single tear to drop out of my left eye... so talented... ugh thank you!
What blows me away every time is how still the upper body stays, when you know the feet are just moving like crazy!😍
This drum tone is fking incredible.

Best song? Or most well known song? I think most people only know of this song because of that quote in the beginning. I'd say other songs like Again we rise, Descending, and Hourglass are better songs than this one. This is just their most mainstream song.

how can you not crush on her she is all ways smiling and her skill is unmatched any where in the world. I have watched a ton of female drummers. Soon as I seen her first upload I was hooked. she is my play list not the bands but her playing there covers lol. So yea we are all Meytal hypnotized

That’s because drumming is done with more wrist movement than arm movement. If you play too much arm and you tire out too soon. No need to hit so hard. Also these are mic premium kits.

I'm a drummer who tried the violin last week....I was blown away at the skill and dedication it would take to play that instrument...I could have cared less before but once I spent an hour with one...I am amazed and have so much respect now to the ones that can play...what a beautiful instrument...I could feel my heart and soul wanting to play it but it wasnt happening...cheers

Brandon Kain that’s awesome! I’ve been playing since I was 7. So for almost 20 years. Guitar I started when I was 13. Tried playing drums at 16 and it didn’t go over too well lol. Glad you had that kind of experience:)

She is playing in a small room. It's not like she is playing on a stage in a huge auditorium. How hard do you really need to hit a drum in a room that's only what, maybe 100 to 200 square feet.
