Pastor Olsteen, God allowed this to happen to Lakewood because you were right for the calling. The enemy has tried to break you for years. But he gave you, your family, staff and congregation the wisdom and skill set needed to rise above this enemy attack and display grace and forgiveness. Your words, your tears....every word spoken today from everyone flowed from God. I met you once in Whole Foods in NYC (Columbus Circle). I will never forget how kind and humble you were. You could have acted like a 'rock star pastor' but you didn't. You keep doing what you do. God bless you and your family. This service today has touched and convicted me. I look forward one day to visit Lakewood.

When I was a kid maybe 6 or 7 somone came into our small church here in Navasota, Texas and pulled out a gun at the alter call and had the Pastor cornered..thankfully nothing happened but it shook up me and the rest of the people that were there...but Gods grace and mercy was there to protect me and the rest of the congregation...had it not been for his faithfulness where would I be today

I always say a prayer of protection for you, your family, and your congregation after you bless us at the end of your service. Good morning pastor joel .. i am a pastor of a new church that was commission October last year ...i was preparing for Sunday service on Saturday evening and i kept seeing the face of pastor joel but i thought the Lord wanted me to start listening to his messages , that is the reason i decided to search for joel messages and i just came across this news.. Glory to God who is faithful to keep Lakewood church from the plan of the devil...Be strong and courageous and know that the Lord is with you sir..

He holds up the Bible at the start of each sermon and everyone says this is my Bible I have what it says I have I am what it says I am I can do what it says I can today I will be taught the word of God I boldly declare my heart is receptive my mind is alert I will never be the same in Jesus name !! Amen. He quotes verses and what people in the Bible went through and encourages us to believe how God sees us and how he wants us to think!!!!! He always says in closing to find a local Bible based church and support it!!! Never does he say pray and you will get a new Mercedes!!! Or money will fall from the sky…. Gods mindset isn’t our own. It's such a coincidence that I reminded my daughter this morning about this bible verse. Psalms 23 happens to be one of my favourite bible verse of all. Every time I feel fear of something, I remind myself of this, though I walk in the valley of the shadows of death, I will not fear for thou art with me Lord, thy rod and staff they comfort me. I do believe God protect his people, sometimes bad times are a way of God showing us his favour on our lives, so that everyone will know his favour is with his chosen ones. ❤

Yesterday I requested for healing prayers for my son who is sick, alone and far away from us. He is now well. ❤Thank you so much Lakewood family and to all those who prayed for his healing. ❤❤❤

Hear my prayers Father. I seem to bear the weight of the world on my shoulders as a single mom, I often face challenges that can seem insurmountable especially with raising two children with special needs. I’m trying to balance everything but Lord I’m struggling to make ends meet, to pay bills, and to put food on the table for my children and I feel so alone. At times I want to give up but I know Jesus will carry me.
