My husband was in ICU in 2009 All the doctors said in his condition nobody has ever survived and if any maybe one percent.I said mine is in that one percent I used to listen to Joel Osteen daily he put so much hope in me and I even sent a prayer request as we speak today my husband came out of ICU and he survived though bedridden but I thank God he is alive and well we talk laugh and he sees his children

@@mz.favored147 thank you, it is awful, i couldn't/can't sleep since, like a close family member died and your spouse leaves you at the same time when you need them the most with 'no contact' she was only 50 and they gave us hope, never made it to the 1st chemo, ive taken it bad, dont have kids, no friends.. caregiver to my mom n now shes been a caregiver to me at 82 - prayers for the both of us - leaning on the lord is the only way i made it this far n counting blessings

I have been listening to ps. Joel your preaching these days. These days I have been feeling desperate. I prayed for hours each day, read my bible, went to church on Sundays(I live in a country where going to church on Sunday is a luxury), and tithed, however, I constantly experienced spiritual attacks from neighbors. I just needed to find a quiet place to study, work, pray, and read my bible. However, I couldn't find a place in this country. The ASV version of romans 8:1 does not the last part. The way I believe God help us is to make sure we are aware of the fact that Jesus already died for our sins and resurrected for our righteousness. This is the case in Psalms 103 where forgiveness was mentioned before healing. Another case was with the woman caught in adultery, “…neither do i condemn you..go and sin no more.” If you read the verses before romans 8:1 Paul said that it was not us but sin causing us to do what we don’t want to and the ANSWER is Jesus Christ. The answer is a person.

Sometimes it’s so hard to shake the past- I can relate. Even when good things come your way. Remember- you are today because of your past. Your strength, your wisdom, comes from your past. I tell myself everyday- I could careless about my past and I am not worried about my future- for I embrace today. A day that the LORD has given me and I am rejoicing- for the LORD is my Shepherd and I don’t want for Anything!
