    Nick's argument against Wildes point about the Lakers players being extremely hot then cooling down is so weak. It's the exact argument he was using to justify the Lakers having a chance against the Nuggets this year. "Murray played at an unsustainably high level all series" "D'Lo was unsustainably bad." But when Wildes says that AD shooting 92% and D'Lo making 6 3's in the first half was unsustainable and that they cooled down from that in the 3rd quarter, Nick's trying to say going 0-10 in 10 possessions was more like an extreme fluke than the Lakers cooling down.

    It's due in large part to their play style. They get a lot of shots in the paint and don't take a lot of threes (29th in attempts). You get fouled more playing that way. The Lakers also allow more threes than they take and fewer shots at the rim. That means their opponents get fouled less.

  • @bryanfoster326

    @bryanfoster326

    Look man, they get dicey calls on occasion, as a nuggets fan, I’ve seen a handful of them, but there’s a reason we teach elementary school kids to create contact when they drive, you play extremely physical and force the ref to make a call, and lebron is the probably the most physical slasher since Charles Barkley and Anthony Davis literally jumps into defenders evertime he shoots a shot inside of 8 feet. You can hate how they play, which I get, I hate how AD plays, but the way they play is the optimal way to get fouls.

    @@butternbread23 I understand, but I’ve never seen him Blame someone for missing a 3 pointer. So you think if a player went 3-4 in clutch shots in the last 3-4 minutes of a game that Nick would blast them for missing the one shot when they hit 3 other big shots?

    Yeah, but no one can even see that. Refs are usually against the Nuggets. The Lakers were given the most ref calls the past two years. And getting only a bit less reffing for yourself in 1 game, is pathetic.

    Correct me if I am wrong but least year, it was revealed that Nick is part of Clutch Agency, same as Lebron, so there is definitely an agenda there. Nick Wright lost a lot of credit from that. In the end, this is an entertainment show that is looking for ratings. That is why Chris has an official MVP vote and Nick never will.
