Nuggets up 3-0 on the Lakers, Was Wildes right about Denver all along? | NBA | FIRST THINGS FIRST

Спорт

The Denver Nuggets beat the Los Angeles Lakers 112-105 to go up 3-0 on the series. The Nuggets have beat the Lakers 11 straight times now, but LeBron James said “as long as you still have life, you obviously have belief”. He also said “it’s just basketball at the end of the day”. Nick Wright, Chris Broussard, and Kevin Wildes discuss whether or not the Lakers have any heart in this series.

He said history will come very quicly for Jokic and people would understand that he is nothing special, that he is great just in regular season, that he is the worst MVP in NBA history, even when he won his 2nd MVP in 2022, Nick ranked him barely 5th in the league that year... He was soo sure about Lakers beating Denver, he is soo sure about Lebron being the GOAT despite the favt that really should've not be a debate in first place because Jordan is way ahead of him😂 amd I can go on and on... But the Nuggets role players are knocking down the good looks that are being created for them while Rui is hitting nothing but backboard on open 3s and missing more point blank layups in a series than most miss in a career. Not trying to say the Lakers should win the series because Denver is clearly the better team, but it has no business being the sweep it’s going to be

    am the Only one seeing this? Lakers static offense, it's insanity. 3 or 4 players standing on the perimeter without any effect on the game, no movement no opening up just standing there basic playing 1 or 2 men offense. Static defense as consequence where Denver moves better without the ball going into the paint more screens creating spaces, basic basketball. How can you coach making millions without knowing the basics ?

  • @student99bg

    @student99bg

    Because you can't coach Lebron. Lebron wants the ball in his hands, he wants to be the ball hog, he doesn't want the ball and the offense to flow because then his stays would go down and Lebron is more powerful than any of his coaches.

    is peak bron better than peak jokic? seeing jokic and some other teams in recent years win without teaming up with the second best player and rival in their prime in their conference (Wade) like bron or KD did makes me wonder when or if at all people will revisit their ridiculous lebron #2-4 all time ranking. the east was so weak too. it's not much different than durants GS stint. Lebrons Cavs were stacked as well, same laughable conference strength. you had PG hibbert pacers and butler bulls as a "threat" basically lol. now we see jokic and nuggets dominating organically. should make you think. its a renaissance
