LAKE TOBA: Indonesia's BIGGEST Lake 🇮🇩
In this video, we are heading to Lake Toba, Indonesia's biggest lake. This is easily one of the most recommended places that you guys had so I had to come to see it. And it did not disappoint, Laka Toba is absolutely beautiful... and HUGE. To get to Toba, I ended up just renting my homestay's scooter. I thought I would have to take a bus, but I'm glad I didn't because this allowed me to stop and check out all the cool things that I see along the way. And in this video, I stop a lot. After a long 5-plus hour scooter ride, I finally make it to my hotel....

6:22 the man who works at the parking lot isn't employed by the restaurant, it's almost always just a local guy who decided to make you pay to park your vehicles there in exchange for some security (making sure nothing gets stolen). They also help visitors park their vehicles if it ever gets busy and parking becomes difficult. It's common practice all over Indonesia
last time foreigner youtuber did the trip like this on the bike was Kristian B. Hansen but he did it in way way more extreme, from jakarta to toba on bike

Lake Toba is in the caldera of a mega volcano. I was there and on the island back in 1988 and stated in a traditional Sumatran house. I enjoyed this video a lot and look forward to the next one. 👍

Yes, Sumatra is huge. Indonesia might be an archipelago but from east to west it’s actually wider than continental US. Lake Toba itself is like three times the size of Singapore. If you want to go to Lake Toba, it’s easier to fly into Silangit Airport.

Tapi jika wilayah laut termasuk apakah manusia bisa tinggal di laut? Itungan luas negara selalu mengacu pada luas daratan
Nick, you make me feel miss my homeland. The way you passed through is Penatapan. The place were you could see the lake from upper site. There is the fancy place nearby, name is Taman Simalem Hotel. A bit expensive, but worth it accommodation also the view is precious

Nick did you know that Lake Toba used to be an ancient mega volcano? The volcano erupted and the crater become lake toba.. It's pretty interesting historical fact

Jgn kan tukang parkir mobil lu parkir sembarangan walau si GG dekat rumah lu sendiri aja di derek klo Indonesia kan bebas suka suka lu parkir biar rumah lu gak punya garasi kek parkir asal asalan di jalan ya sah sah aja.
