Just back from the HKP, tackled it on my fully loaded Kawasaki GTR 1400 which is a big old mamma.... On the clutch and in first gear on most of the up hill hair pins....Mad place....

What a beast of a road. The gopro doesnt show how steep that is. Smashed it mate well done

It's absolutely amazing !

I found hardknot pass not that hard, i did it on a first generation suzuki burgman 400cc scooter and did it 2 up. Great video 👍

I have a Burgman 650 and was imagining riding this road while watching this. Seemed like it would be easier and you validated that. Bet you had a load of fun!

@@spencerlucas5835 I definitely meant easier, not easy. I’ve done some fairly tight twisties (not like those) and I love how the Burgman powers through it all. Give me more ground clearance and an 80/20 tire on front (along with the darkside rear) and I’d take it places a scooter shouldn’t go.

Do not attempt if YOU'RE a novice rider. -- I'm no novice but I have a Crosstourer and I don't fancy wrestling the top-heavy pig around those gradients...,
